Good price but the phone isn't great, have a 6, SE and 7, SE slow after 3 months, freezes occasionally, plus point is battery is good
Heat anywY

To counter my SE is perfect. No issues, very fast, bright white display. Bought it over the 7 and 7 plus (came from a 6s plus).

1. for the size as I prefer a phone to fit my pocket
2. the cash savings
3. Performs just as well as the 7 in most areas (better on battery as well)

Probably worth factory reseting your phone and setting up from scratch as your "backup/profile" maybe corrupt/buggy.

Deal heated.

Does this one have courage? Or is that just the 7?

Great phone. I have had mine six months and I am a heavy user. It is not slow at all. My wife has a 6S and my SE is practically the same but smaller screen.

yeah i agree - fundamentally same core platform in a smaller package, would not make sense to slow down

It's advertised as "sim free" which will lock on the 1st SIM card

You need an "unlocked" version

It's not outdated info...as the other half got one from carohone warehouse and it locked. That was last year

It's only advise...

Says this on the website:

"Browse our great range of sim free smart phones and you will see the great range of unlocked phones from top manufacturers including Sony and Apple."

Sounds like they shouldn't lock to sim. Though it would be good if someone can confirm.

Lol no its not, check for the amount of iphone 6s and 7's on ebay where people are stating the phone will get locked on first sim
#21
Yea...sim free which means they will accept any sim

You need to look for "unlocked"

Just a heads up

Ordered, but thanks for info on SimFree. I too thought this meant unlocked. And it seems it does mean unlocked if you buy SimFree from John Lewis, but not if you buy it SimFree from Argos.

Hmm...not surprising that it's a bit confusing. So I wonder if they will price match their SimFree with this SimFree...

Thanks for the link though...great price, have been looking for a bargain on the 64gb version...

It does lock to the first network if you purchase it from Argos , just look at the Q and A's on the product page of the link .If John Lewis match it and it's not locked to the first network I will purchase it from them. Anyone know if John Lewis will match the price and if it's fully unlocked if I buy it from them ?

Some iphones lock to the first sim you use. However a 3 sim wont lock the phone as there sim cards dont lock.

Used to work for JL they will match as long as same colour, size etc and Argos have stock. Wont generally match discount codes though if used.
