I'm thinking a great price to give windows phone 7 a go
i want!!!!
If it was easy to put a custom ROM on the Xperia X10 and it didn't have bad call quality I would have got it.

Has anyone got the C6? Is the on-screen keyboard any good?

are these repaired handsets "only" (the huge bluetooth issue apparently they had) or are then brand new ? if they are brand new and the bluetooth works its a gr8 deal

Handset should be brand new as doesn't say otherwise anywhere on the page.
No idea r.e. the bluetooth, I'll let you know!!

i got one (not from this deal) and the blutooth doesnt work and am being stalled by LG to repair/replace it .. so i'd be interested to know if its a refurb after they haev swapped out the board (defective blutooth chipset)

if its a fully working handset and new its a no brainer for this price .. WP7 IMHO (current lack of decent apps aside and bearing in mins 7.5 is due anytime) is gr8 .. much prefer it to android though i'm a bit disapointed with the 7.0 cut down zune and lack of ability to transfer files to/from the apps (eg full dropbox like i have on the iphone and my old win mo 6.5) .. so hopefully 7.5 will add all this .. MS never usually gets it right on V1 ;-)
once i cancel my expansys order I will be getting one if it is still about. HOT from me.
Mmmm they dont practice the real distance selling laws:

Under the new distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel this contract with Handtec and return your goods for a full refund within 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods. We will refund the price of the product, less any delivery costs charged.

This law assumes that the goods returned for credit have not been used and are in pristine condition i.e. Goods must be in unopened original packaging with no damage to the boxes or equipment. Goods returned for credit which has been opened, with any damage to internal and external packaging will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge in addition to postal charges.

Still great price.

this is from expansys site...seems very fair to me..

Returning unwanted/not faulty goods
Any item may be returned for any reason within 14 days of the date of receiving your order so long as it remains in a saleable condition with original packaging. We will refund the price of the item after we have inspected the goods and confirmed the condition of the goods as appropriate for refund.

Please note that, with the exception of faulty merchandise, we cannot accept software or goods containing software where the seal has been broken or the software has been registered. If any goods containing software that has been opened, used or registered are returned, a 25% fee will apply to compensate us for the loss of software element of the goods in question. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please contact us to request an RMA form by telephone on +44 (0)845 467 7000 - and follow the instructions to authorise the return of goods.

Please send your returns in by post only once you have received an RMA confirmation from EXPANSYS - please note that we strongly advise you to use a secure signed for service and that the cost of returning the goods is your responsibility.

Expansys are a great seller and when Ive made a return they've always handled it well and refunded or exchanged with no hassle.

The terms & conditions on Handtec put me off because (like alot of retailers these days) they give the impression you will be financially punished if you make a return which shouldnt be the case if returning in mint condition. I like to be sure of my position as a consumer because I have had to return items in the past because either they didnt suit my needs or I plain didnt like them or the way they worked.

Out of interest for people who have experience with WP7, does the messaging have threading like iOS?

I am interested in trying out the platform.
I got mine from Expansys - my thoughts so far had it for about 20 mins.

Its buttery smooth - did a quick browser test against my IP4 running 4.1 and LG was as quick or quicker than IP4. Now this is amazing as once I upgrade to the latest nodo update I expect it to fly past my Ip4.
Now £195.59

Did anybody get MMS working on this phone with an o2 (GiffGaff) sim? or any sim come to that. For me it's the one thing I've discovered I can't get working.
