SIM free Motorola Atrix Plus Laptop Dock @ eBuyer £259.49
A great price for a decent Android Tegra 2 handset that converts into a netbook. (Oddly eBuyer has the phone on it's own for £280!)
We use eBuyer at work a lot, so I'd probably pay the little bit more and stick with them.
ICS isn't officially available yet but you can get CM9 based on ICS for it here:

Plenty of ROMS and hacking information over at XDA developers including how to install full versions of Linux to make the dock a real netbook.
Lapdock alone was over £300 last year!

Note: The lag is caused by the program used for recording this video.The performance of Ubuntu is good.

It's a great phone. Lots of customised ROMs available. Forget about the stock ROM. Blur is very slow out of the box.
I've been running jokersax CM9 for quite a while, and it works perfectly. Blazing fast.
Now I'm trying MIUI CM9. The battery life increased significantly.
Re the lapdock:
Out of the box, it uses webtop on the lapdock. It's ok, not very fast. You can browse internet on it etc.
You can install ubuntu or other variant of Linux now.

Hot as hell.
Just get one and you will not be dissapointed that you didnt get an iphone4s, htc one and other top phone instead on the market now.
