Review, think its the right model.
Here

Looks "ok" but still think the SF is a better buy, but this might suite someone wanting a physical keyboard/ something unusual.

Good review here

Noticed a young lass using this in the street. Turned my head obviously. Cute, but I got big thumbs and weak eyes

I think 'SIM Free' means not locked to any network

sim free means unlocked

Poor construction, you'll be stuck with 2.1 as Moto don't usually update their phones, and better phones such as SF, X8 etc available cheaper. Cold IMHO, sorry...

A colleague of mine has really fat fingers and can't deal with touch screens. Will this be good for him?

I wouldn't have thought so. The keyboard is good, but even with the little nav-pad you can't avoid the fact that an Android phone will demand a lot of touchscreen use. And this is one of the smallest screens on the market, hardly conducive to accurate tapping with fat fingers.

That said, if it's just an aversion to on-screen keyboards then I guess this solves the problem.

136 quid for eclair? Not so great

I think that there are roms/ hacks for this phone just like the SF, check some other flipout threads on HUKD, someone had posted a link to "alternative" firmwares etc... I think 2.2 was mentionned too.

...to a fan boy? Looks are fairly good deal - but not going to be for everybody
