Why choose this plan?
Easy - keep your number and phone
Value - more minutes and texts than contract phones
Freedom - just 30 days' notice
Key features
30 day contract
100 minutes
No roaming charges this summer

Say goodbye to long contracts - and hello to more talk time and texts. With a SIM only Pay monthly plan, you'll enjoy even more value than you'd get with a contract phone. Plus there's just 30 day's notice if you need to cancel.

Just pop our SIM into your existing phone - and enjoy outstanding service from the word go. Our UK call centre helps with everything from tariffs to texting. There's free delivery when you buy online, and our 14-day returns policy guarantees you peace of mind. You can even keep your existing number.

Prices shown include VAT at 17.5%. Don't worry - we'll reduce the VAT on your monthly bill to 15%, for as long as this rate remains.

Going abroad this summer? Then opt-in to Vodafone Passport. From 1 June to 31 August we've abolished the 75p roaming charge in 35 European countries, Australia and New Zealand. Available on all price plans.

Ok if u keep to your inclusive minutes else 40p per minute rounded up to the nearest minute to call u mates on other networks, easy to rack up big charges once u inclusive minutes are up.

I would stick to Three, they got the same deal but with free SKYPE and unlimited text

Reads more like like a Vodafone advert. I bought one recently - good deal / great price - but practically impossible to find out how many minutes of call / how many texts are left. So mostly useless. One Vodafone customer services person told me it takes over a month to set it up, another said two weeks, yet another said she didn't know. I still cannot see these details - even after logging in to the Vodafone site.

yep voda balance checking facility is a shocker

when it eventually does work it just shows how many mins you have used rather how many there are left

Tell me about it, i'm 10 days to end of 18month Voda contract and want to move onto this (have to have vodafone for coverage issues), online can't move me over, in shop can't do it, phoned up can't do it until i goover my 18month contract. Customer service beyond poor.....

I was "told" you could get a text of what your balance was OR check on line???????

looked a good deal to me

The deal is only any good if you can check what you have used - otherwise you may end up paying considerably more than on a normal monthly contract. Trouble is, if they take over a month to get the balance checking on to their site and the "contract" is in theory only for one month then no balance checks will ever appear as, I guess, each month the contract restarts and we're we're told the same old thing again.

From a business perspective it seems a great way for Vodafone to get far more money into their coffers over and above the £10 a month headline rate. I feel very sorry for the Vodafone customer services people who have to answer for their company's dreadful service levels. This has to be a COLD deal despite the good price - otherwise others might be sucked into it.

Have two contracts, one with 3 and one with Vodaphone - you would reckon 3 customer service`s were naff but they have been really helpful and efficient. However, I took this deal (or one very similar) about six weeks ago and they have been useless. Messed up the direct debit,(then tried to blame it on my bank) set up two lines and billed me for both - very nice customer service people but ineffective. Thanks goodness its only a 30 day contract ! Not so good coverage as 3 or Orange ( at least for me anyway). Beware : )

Just found out that calling 44555 from the mobile gives me the data I need (i.e. minutes / texts left) so it's not so bad after all and I'll carry on with it. Still nothing on the web site. Why Vodafone failed to inform me of the 44555 number is beyond me.
