Wow so if Quidco paid up this is £8 for 12mths !!!!!!!! (£138 - £130) - SUPERHOT
#5
That's what I'm hoping. But even at £9 for 9 months it's good because of the amount of minutes etc.
#6
Will also get 10% comapny discount - so even hotter.

Members should only use voucher codes listed on Quidco. If you use voucher codes that are not listed on Quidco your cashback will be declined.

Code is needed to get 9 months half price would that invalidate the quidco. I saw a great sim only deal on mobiles.co.uk on O2 same mins as above but 10 months free by redemption making it 3.58 a month effectively. Then there was topcashback on top too.

I can't even ask quid care because you have to wait 3 days but I have posted here .. http://www.quidco.com/help/report-issue/

standard contract without codes or quidcos

£18 x 12months = £216 total price

if 9 months half price code applied
(£18 / 2 = £9 = half of £18)
9 months x £9 = £81
12 months - 9 months = 3 months remainiNg to pay full price
(£81) + (3months x £18 = £54) = £54 + £81 = £135 total price of contract

effectively £135 / divided by / 12months = £11.25 per month effectively to pay

if only quidco applied, tracked, confirmed (ends 30 April) and no discount code

£18 x 12months = £216 needed to have in account

£216 - quisco

12 months - 9 months = 3 months remainiNg to pay at full price

£216 - quidco of £130 = £86 effectively for contract

£86 /divided by/ 12month = £7.167 effectively per month

if both code and quidco tracks

9 months account needs to have at least £9

9months x £9 = £81
3months x £18 = £54
£54 + £81= £135 total to pay if no quidco

£135 - if quidco £130 = £5 effective full cost of 12 month contract

can you downgrade the package after 9 months? Has anyone had quidco and the code work for them before?
#15
Vodafone do not supply voucher codes alongside cashback nor is cashback available in conjunction with any half price offers. Unless otherwise specified, cashback will be declined if a code is used or a half price offer taken.

From topcashback for reference. They will match quidco tho.
#16
My quidco is tracking now at £130
#17
I've had quidco pay out on many transactions when a voucher was used that wasn't on there site.

Half price sky tv code, lowcostholidays £30 off etc. All these still tracked then confirmed and then paid out.

I needed the minutes etc. so it's was worth going through them as its always a bonus is cashback pays.

Perhaps I am missing something. But the o2 deal only has 100mb of data--this is no where near enough for anyone with a smart phone.

The starndard Vodaphone deal through quidco (no code) is stunning and if Quidco pays out you've got a real world sim that can be used everday for £7.16 a month.

If you try to bite the cherry twice it may end up costing you more.

Plus--Quidco tracks very fast.
#23
I bought it using the code as any cashback is not guaranteed. Whereas the code will definitely work. If cashback tracks then jackpot , but it's just as risky relying solely on quidco.
#24
does anyone know for sure whether the code can be applied when going through cashback?
or will the code cancel any cashback
i have bought a vodafone sim only contract before and quidco tracked very quickly and paid out in a few months
this a a tempting offer but unsure whether to go through quidco only or to use the code

Quidco will not work with 9 month half price code. This offer came few months ago also. I got a vodafone contract with code and quidco tracked at full rate. Within days the cashback was declined from quidco. Fortunately it was on the last day of 7 days retrun period
and I called Vodafone and cancelled the contract.

I've used promotion code Once with Vodafone around a year back. The cash back was successful.

Those wanting a Vodafone signal but no so many minutes can get the 6 month SIM only deal from TalkMobile. 300 minutes, 1000 texts and 500MB data for £8-a-month, with £30.30 Topcashback.

You are right, 6mth contract is ideal, also TalkMobile is a virtual provider using Vodafone's hardware.

You see, I want to order it but I am afraid of the Quidco being declined outside of the 7 day refund policy !

Anyone else?
#30
hi 2 questions
1 if you use both codes which 1 will be declined
2 are the mins just to mobile or do they include 08
thank you
#31
The talkmobile (Vodafone virtual network) sim only deals work out much better than this eg.

600 minutes
3000 texts
750mb data
6 months sim only £12.00 month = total £72

possible TCB = £35.35

potential cost £72- £35.35 = £36.65/6 = £6.11 month

Just renewed the wifes sim only T-Mobile deal for 600 mins - 500 texts - 3gb internet for £7.50 pm. Do not think this deal is avaliable to new customers though, but it gives you an idea of what they can give you.....
#37
towner - think orange will offer the same? I was thinking of cancelling for this deal
#38
Wish tmobile gave me that just renewed with 300mins 500 tmobile mins 250gb downloads plus unlimited browsing and unlimited texts for 7.50 after seeing it posted on here
#39
Alternatively GiffGaff (on O2 network) offer

Unlimited Text and Data (no data cap))

250 minutes for £10
400 minutes for £15

Pay monthly, no contract.

FWIW the cashback sites are getting a lot tougher on the use of 3rd party codes with cashback. I suspect that anyone who uses the 9mos promo code will find their cashback will be rejected after a few days. They will then be about £50 worse off than if they had not used the promo code....

This is a very good price for a Voda SIMO when you use the cashback alone (assuming you get the cashback!).

The big cashback rate expires at midnight tonight......

FWIW - if anyone still doesn't know about the SIMO Deal megapost then checkout http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/several-cheap-cheerful-sim-only-deals-giving-mins-txts-data-various-suppliers-1110944
