Giffgaff is way way better -

250mins/unltd texts 100mb of data free giffgaff to giffgaff calls for 3months on each top up

Lebara probably beats it on international rates but not domestic or data.

Thought I should point out that your T-Mobile call allowance won't count when calling anyone who uses a Lebara sim.

I don't understand what happens when numbers are ported. Will a Orange number ported to Lebara et al be charged as a non-UK number?

According to T-Mobile, all these prefix numbers are not UK mobiles and will not be part of exclusive minutes.

07404 07405 07408 07417 07424 07466
075202 075594 075894 075895 075896 075897
07609 07610 07621 07682 077077 0782210
078228 078920 078921 078931 079112 079118
079788

Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not part of the UK, and this issue is bad enough.
Now it has got worse.
How on earth is one to know whether a number is a UK mobile.
The entire mobile numbering is a mess.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

- Uncompetitive international rates for many common countires
- Rates change frequently
- Poor reception
- Appauling customer service
- When doing a top up takes longer time for cashiers to find the company
- Sim card gets damaged easily
- Most of the time poor deals offered and for short period

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
My son used them as his girlfriend is in Singapore he paid his bill in October and cancelled with them he went over to Singapore for a month for xmas and rang me to tell me that Lebara had taken over £500.00 from his account using his debit card details we had to send him some cash as they wouldn't talk to us about it he came home 10th Jan and went to the bank it looks like they kept his card details they are being very unhelpful and the bank are in the process of sorting it out it it's illegal what Lebara has done but that does not help my son now.How on earth they did it and for the amount they took was 4 times the amount my son had ever had a bill for in the past.Be warned STAY AWAY!

I am so sorry to hear about your sons unfortunate experience with Lebara.

To be frank, the company started off with good promotional deals and good level of customer service but their service since last year has been totally shocking.

I had to take out my Lebara sim to fix the phone that I was using. When I put the sim back in after a few days, it didnt work. I wrote to customer service to help me out and they never replied. I lost £ 5-7 that was on that sim. I also feel that their system charges more than the advertised rate.

I feel sorry for people who are being lured in by such a dodgy company.
