probably been done before but it can't hurt to repost in case someone missed it. It's not a bad deal if you are a light user. Basically you call chitter chatter, they send out a t-mobile sim and from there you can deal directly with T-Mobile. T-mobile will debit your account £10 each month but chitter chatter will credit you back the £4 on the same day.

Instead of unlimited data you can choose Unlimited Texts, Unlimited
Landline or Unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile calls

This is a good deal for light users. I am on the T mobile 30 day rolling contract for £10, rang up and said I wanted to cancel, and they offered me £5 off for the next 3 months. It's good to know this is an alternative deal. Thanks for posting

NO contract you get

This is a 30 day rolling contract

Did they also tell you that you will need to stay with them for the next 6 months? Which basically means that you will pay the £10 for the next 3 months because you can have the discount only for 3 months out of 6. When I did that their CA didnt tell me that I will need to stay with them for 6 months so when I canceled my contract they charged me an extra 15 pounds for the discount.

kingboom4... i am so jealous i missed out on that deal. was that the one with a booster as well?

12 months contract only too! Whats the actual plan you are on though? as if you disconnect, they will charge you the full charge without discounts applied (which you have to do if you want to keep your number for another provider)

I managed to get for being a valued customer £5 a month 300min 300 texts and a booster. 24 months contract though! And actual plan is £15 a month without discounts.

wouldve definitely preferred the £7.50 plan though, as it was only 12 months

Plus NO guaranty that GiffGaff will carry on with this offers. They may come and say "sorry we no longer offer you the goodybag you used to buy". Ta taaa

I bought a T-Mobile contract from here a while back. Unlimited data means 3GB in my case, but the bloke I spoke to last night told me for new customers it is only 500MB from now on as a result of Ofcom or somebody telling them to do this.

But as someone else has pointed out its just a "fair-usage" limit ... if you go above the limit then then T-mobile may put some restrictions on what you can connect to (but I think they say you'll always be able to "surf" website - its just stuff involving streaming etc thats affected) and most importantly they won't start charging a punitive "excess usage" charge for each extra MB of data.

That sounds like a load of rubbish from T-Mobile - how come Three still offer unlimited data???

Any of these new 30 day tarriffs can do that though, and as far as I'm aware every available network is offering some kind of 30 day plan.

In the same light, even if you're a bog-standard PAYG user they can increase your charges, decrease your data, or indeed do whatever else they please, and as a customer you have very little comeback.

If you credit your account with say £20 then you should be entitled to the same rates and charges for those calls and data until the day your credit expires. However, there's nothing to stop your next top-up getting you half as many calls or texts. After your credit has expired, your agreement to be on that tariff has (normally) contractually expired, as accounts become dormant when they are uncredited.
You're simply asking to be put back on a plan called "SuperSaverFaceTwits" or whatever for another month, and do you look online or ask the helpline what this tarrif's charges are, or do you just assume it'll be the same as last time you used it?
To be blunt about it a new sale can, and will, in any form of transaction, bring new (usually increased) prices. That's business for you.

As for the deal... seems hot.

Pretty poor, considering that with some mild trickery, you can bag a 3 contract for £7 a month with five times as many minutes.

Oops just read the above comment about no guarantee of GiffGaff continuity.
Just go with somebody else because you have NO contract ties.

Never mind that. What the hell are you on with that name and picture combination. Being offensive seems to have become acceptable especially on here but since when did racially offensive gestures become acceptable? You are using the name of a known african (albeit an idiot) man and using a picture of a gorilla as your avatar. In spite of the support you'd get from many like minded people on here, I wonder if you shouldn't be reported just to see if anyone shares the view you'd use in your defence.

Not as good as the previous T-mob deal sadly (600mins, 500 texts, booster of your choice (unlim landlines, unlim texts, unlim t-mob calls) plus 'unlimited' data (3GB usage limit) for £7.20 a month....there's better out there (giffgaff).
#26
As someone who has gone over the FUP in the past.
This is what I have experienced.

Browsing internet, twitter/facebook apps etc still work.
However between the hours of 4pm-Midnight I can;t watch Youtube or download any files (mp3, flash, zip etc)

Not sure if that's what it is on 500mb FUP but I don't see why it would change.

Don't think they have ... also I think they've said that for browsing/email/facebook/etc there still is no limit. For streaming (and I assume from what you say downloads as well) then its 500MB/month after which they impose restrictions.

TMobile is 500mb if you go over every month they will give you a warning if you don't cut down they will slow your Internet down as they did when my 13yr old daughter went over and knocked the speed down to what seemed like 56mb it then took an eternity to surf sites on the net but at least they don't charge megabucks like vodaphone etc would of done

I bought a T-Mobile contract from here a while back. Unlimited data means 3GB in my case, but the bloke I spoke to last night told me for new customers it is only 500MB from now on as a result of Ofcom or somebody telling them to do this.
