Browsing round Tesco and my husband popped a pack of Simoniz orange fragrance car dash wipes in the basket - priced at £3.99.
Checked receipt on way out and noticed wipes went through at only 18p so went back and bought the last 2 packs which also scanned at 18p :O)
This was tonight at the Tesco store in Bishop Auckland, not sure if just store specific.
Have receipt if anyone wants a peek.

Thought i smelt orange as you drove past last week.

don't get me wrong - its is very cheap but with car cleaning products you get what you pay for - i run my own valeting firm with staff who work for me and i would never give the lads anything like this to clean a car with - in my experience most, if not all Simoniz products are poor and not worth using.

Davenkim, any discount for us?

Davenkim, what car products would you recommend? From your experience what is the best car wax (for a black car) and tyre shine?
#6
only 18p. on orange fragrance only 1 on shelf in Purley now none

davenkim - I think it is unfair to say they are xxxx. Not everyone cares enough about their car to use Autoglym product. For someone who wants to get the kids finger prints off the dash, I think this is a good product for a good price. For 18p, you cant go wrong to have them in your glovebox.

£3.99?? Its cheaper to use babywipes as the smell on these lasts for 2 seconds!

autoglym SRP to the rescue!

I use them on my car once a week. They leave an excellent shine on the dash, and don't attract too much dust. Paid £3.99 in Halfruads, but noticed £1.99 in Sainsburys petrol station. Obv the Tesco deal is far better.

i usually purchase Autosmart products, they are a trade product but can be purchased in small amounts off ebay but are quite expensive - with regards to waxing, any thing with carnauba wax in it is well worth a use - Mirror image is an Autosmart polish and is very good, also use glass polish when doing your car, makes all the difference - use something called High style for your tyres, put it in a trigger spray bottle and spray on, is really good stuff - in my opinion Autosmart is one of the best around for valeting products

None on the Isle of Wight.

Managed to get 7 of these from Tesco Shettleston (a full box) which will do both of our cars for the rest of the year i guess! There were none on the shelf but i spotted some up on the "overstock" top shelf all wrapped up in cling film.

Would work out cheaper to cut the kids fingers off using a sharp knife.
