SanDisk 8GB 30MB/s Extreme HD Video SDHC Card - Amazon @ £8.99

Down from £24.99 to just £8.99 - although admittedly the price on this seems to fluctuate a lot recently - still, a bargain!

The 16GB 45MB/s version regularly goes down to just over a tenner (currently 12.39). Substantially faster and double the size for a tiny amount more.
Amazon were selling it for £7.68 a while back, but prob best price at the moment.

I use this in my TV to play video for my 2 year old son....and I have had absolutely no issues. Yes the transfer of the video to the stick is slow, but no issues with playback.

Am I the only one that has no issue with these sticks??

Hot from me!
Picked up a Sandisk 32GB for £9.99 from MyMemory the other day
These normally have slow read/write speeds
My **** is free, but just because it can't be found cheaper, dosen't make it a good deal. ;)

I've found these drives to be poorly made, very slow and unreliable.

Just my 0.02.
PhilK
The slowest of all brand name usb sticks.
Wouldn't waste my money
Can it be found cheaper than this?

Bad price for this quality.

Read past comments on this speed and quality.
I have one of these, the write speeds are horribly slow... Useful if you just want to store something and access it without changing it.

Good deal but what's the point of having a 2gb online backup for a 32gb stick?!

I agree but its free online backup so cant complain :)

The speed (lack of it), and the cracking of the plastic shroud, has been thoroughly discussed on this site. Just type in SanDisk Cruzer Blade in the search box, and read it.

Good price and reliable flash drive. I bought one from Currys for £3 more. If you need one ASAP then worth Reserve and Collecting online and picking it up at your local store.

If no rush then save the 3 quid and buy from Amazon :)
If you're not a brand snob then you can get play.com's own brand one for £9.99 here - http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/18293083/0/Play-com-32GB-USB-Flash-Drive/ListingDetails.html

TBH I have the 8GB version of the Sandisk one and it's slow as hell. My friend has the 16GB play.com stick and it seems a lot faster so would recommend it!

Can this card be used for normal photos in a Lumix TZ10? I think so but some confirmation would be good, if so I'll be picking one up.
yeah, certainly looks like it will be fine.

Thanks, and the Play link below says about faster photos. Think I may order one and then see if the Extreme Pro come down in price. Haven't got a DSLR yet so I think I can wait a bit!

Hey, this isn't out of stock. Why is it expired?

There's just an additional waiting/processing time on these:

"In stock but may require up to 2 additional days to deliver.
Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk. Gift-wrap available."

These are painfully slow... I don't see the point in having 32GB if it takes hours to fill it.

Voted hot as if you don't care about speed it's a good price for 32GB.
It take about 40 seconds per GB for me so I usually fill it up with video/movies and then when it come to deleting and replacing a few GB it only takes a few min each time. It's not like you have to physically sit next to it turning a wheel to slowly add data, you can go off and do something else you know.

You have to find some decorating to do, while writing to this.

See all the reviews of it in previous postings!!

I remember them!!
