Ok not huge saving but when you only want to give your child a treat they great. Also great when Mum needs a picke me up and when you can buy 11 and get change from a £1 gotta be good :)

A finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat. A finger of fudge is just enough until its time to eat. Its full of cadbury goodness and really small and neat aaaaaaa finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat.

6p off a bar of chocolate? Is this Hot UK Deals or Lame UK Deals? For the love of God, tell me where I can save £££s off a telly, not about 6p off a flamin' candy bar :x
#11
Also in Asda, and Freddy frogs are 10p, should be 15p and the dairy milk bars are 5p too(I have a fridge full . I think they were in Tesco too, sure someone posted it as a deal a while back.

I posted it more for members to reminise how nice this kinda thing was Shaiya and william . It may only be 6p but is actually a 40% saving and with school holidays on us and kids always nagging for sweets im sure these will save parents a good few quid as local spars and stuff are rip offs 59p-69p for a mars bar now.

And those little white cubes that had crispy shell and liquorice inside 4 for 1p which at 5 years old i hated. Im sure they be ok now but liquorice just aint sweet to a 5 yr old lol

...is 40% off not good enough for you then?

Also, maybe someone out there is having a kids party...if so, I should imagine this would be a good deal for them, as sweets aren't cheap nowadays!

Hello, aren't we all great! Rep and heat all around!

(some days, I like to glance through the window of the asylum, to observe the inmates and their whacky "deals")

This was my GF's favourite, sadly no longer together now so wont be buying these :(

Is this really what we've become? Excited about saving 6 pence?

People could be stockpiling fudges for when the world runs out of food.

bet they'd make substantial savings with this deal. ;-)

This is a new low. I can understand that someone may be sad enough to post this, but the fact that there are more than 5 people willing to indulge it and vote for it is depressing. If you want to waste your time discussing how much you like fudges why not post in Misc?

What an awesome deal... It almost tops the 11p I saved on beans last week.... This site rocks!

Hang on... www.mysupermarket.co.uk tells me this finger of fudge is 9p in Tesco, Asda and Waitrose.... I've been had... This isn't a deal after all!!!

Actually, I'd say your reply to this topic would take that award, since it adds absolutely nothing of value to the discussion :whistling:

Anyway, voted hot - if I had a Tesco nearby, I'd definitely have bought 11 (for myself... not saying I'd eat them all at once, but as people have pointed out, it's a great saving to stock up).

Indeed it most likely is smaller/shorter than it used to be, but that seems to be the way with most things these days - the prices get higher, whilst the portions get lower.

EDIT: Ah, after seeing Sandsman's reply above, I can get some after all then - I do have an Asda near me! Ok, that means that Tesco is not cheapest place (but rather the same price as a few others), but it was still a good post since I don't tend to keep up with the prices of sweets these days, and that has spurred me to buy some :-D

I don't think this post is pointless. Every little helps and that includes those who might have a sweet tooth and may want to give themselves or loved ones a chocolatey treat. Don't start raining down on people if you don't agree, just skip the post. Everything in this site isn't for everyone, thats just life. I like Fudge and so do others.

Someone has taken time out to write something that they thought someone else would find interesting. As long as 1 person goes to Tesco and buys 1 Fudge, this post is then relevant. It is relevant regardless.

I give heat and rep for relevance to someone's life and the memories of cheaper sweets of the days gone by by other members :-) xx

I hear that. Anyone knocking 40% off as not being a hot deal wouldn't know a good deal if it hit them in the face

40% of nothing is still nothing.

You can't see the wood for the trees, and that's why this has to be pointed out to you.
