These are really good, efficient and much less risk of burns. Ideal for an office kitchen for example.

and yes before some hilarious japer starts you need to have an electrical hookup

Looks good, can see plenty of peeps melting their outdoor plastic garden sockets come BBQ season with this 2kw monster.

Just remember that you need the right sort of pan to work on these. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan they will work. I have been using one for 3 years now and wouldn't be without it.

as rich said, i've bought an induction hob but no one told me you need special pans which are generally dearer.

these are fantastic when you have small kids in the house.

Seems like an interesting item. So does anyone know where you can buy these pans from and how much they are (ish)?

Argos got a set (half price) £32.49 at the min. 2saucepans 16 and 18 and 26 cm frypan.

Hi. I would also use this for the caravan, Are they OK on a normal 10 or 16 amp hook-up? Just that we wont want to switch everything else off etc.

Got one today. Not tooooo baaad. Well made. Looks gorgeious. I tried to boil 1.7litr water on it and it takes 7 minutes. I boiled the same amount of water with same pot on a gas cooker and it took 11 minutes. Quite happy.

Anywhere from £40 - £100 and usually they only come with a 1 yr warranty. this has a 3yr warranty :)
