How long to Microwave?
For Example, if you use 1 cup of rice, add 2 cups of water and microwave it for 12 minutes

How long to Microwave?

8 to 12 minutes for 250 grams of rice, according to the manual. It doesn't look like it's any quicker with this device that if you cooked it on the hob in saucepan.

I've got a similar thing to this and although it doesn't really speed things up it makes cooking rice so much easier. You don't have to keep your eye on it to make sure it doesn't run dry.

definitely recommend one of these

Seems about this price everywhere? £7.59 on amazon?

No doubt Home Bargains will get a "copy" in soon, like they have with all the other Sistema stuff like the soup cup and food bowl for less then a quid each, I think I will wait

I use one of these. Not this specific make.

Easier than the saucepan method and a lot safer. Rice taste just as good.

Great if you are doing 2-3 portions if rice.
