never seen it before, but 39 out of 43 amazon reviews were 5 stars, so worth a go at the price

DVD Description
When death is your business, what is your life? For the Fisher family, the world outside of their family-owned funeral home continues to be at least as challenging as --and far less predictable than --the one inside. From Oscar-winning screenwriter Alan Ball (American Beauty) comes this breakout series that takes a darkly comic look at members of a dysfunctional L.A. family that runs a funeral business. With Peter Krause, Frances Conroy, Michael C. Hall, Lauren Ambrose and Rachel Griffiths. This box set contains all five seasons of the show that changed the landscape of television forever.

Its a brilliant show:) I paid about £75 for it a couple of years ago and it was worth it at that. Highly recommended:thumbsup:

I envy you for never seeing it before, I really do, mine (and I am sure some others) favourite TV drama show ever made.

Groundbreaking show, truly.

Excellent deal.

Top show and an even better price.

It's a great show, I've been meaning to get this for a while but ideally I'd like it a bit cheaper and I still have a HUGE West Wing box to watch so I can wait but this is up there with the greats of the last few years.

Fantastic show. I paid about £35 for each season box set!
#8
the best series I've seen, characters are all great and not sure if the final episode can be topped.

Shows as out of stock when I try and add to basket, but now amazon have price matched and it's in stock...

Edit: ordered from amazon, what the heck, it was a great show and i've wanted the box set for a while, can't wait for it to drop any further so bit the bullet. Will soften the blow of not getting a 47" LCD for £200 to watch it on, lol.

I really didn't like the "That's My Dog" episode when it was broadcast. Haven't watched it again since, but will do one day.

I felt so sorry for David in that one, its affect on him continued throughout the series.

Without listing any spoilers for those that have not watched the show, that's the amazing thing about the show, just how hard hitting and at times the way the show drags you into the family how uncomfortable you can feel yourself for the situations that can arise...I doubt anyone that has watched that show has not felt a variety of emotions watching it.

Yeah, "Thats My Dog" was uncomfortable to watch but was a pivotal point for the character.
Even the Pilot episode really drew me into Six Feet Under, the family and their pain. Frances Conroy gave an especially amazing performance in that episode.

An absolute bargain and personally ranked in my top 3 TV shows of all time. The characters and their development grips you from the start and throughout the 5 seasons. It ends with an absolutely stunning finale that left me with no words. Hauntingly memorable and I cannot recommend it enough, especially at this price!

Virgin Media did show it in HD on their TV On Demand, HBO have released The Sopranos on Blu Ray, but there has been no confirmation about HBO releasing SFU on Blu Ray as yet.
