Can't really call it "Skiing in France" when it doesn't include lift pass or ski hire.

sounds good, not that i'l be going though :3

A fantastic price, can't fault it - but check out the snow report - it hasn't snowed there since 11th Jan !

Check out the webcams on iglu's own site

If you can afford it, pay a bit more and go to the USA/Canada, otherwise ignoring the snow report, this is a cracking deal for the price.

£199!
CATERED Chalet!
Free Wine!
Les Deux Alpes!

Are you joking, this is scorchio... I know the snow reports aren't fantastic, but it's on a glacier, there's snow there all year round up at the top, you will always be able to ski/snowboard there. Can't say that about many resorts.

Wish I could go...Grrrrr.

Actually....this has got me thinking.....

Agreed great deal... just bare in mind though this is a club hotel therefore usually means around 30 guests and can turn into a bit of a riot around meal times

Just got back from Les Deux Alpes this weekend. There was no fresh snow during the week we were there and hadn't been any since 31st Dec (I see someone posted to say 11th Jan??) however- apart from some of the lower slopes (which includes black runs!!) there is still plenty of snow and no problems skiing. I believe the resort is known as the upside down resort as most of the easier green/blue runs are at the top of the mountain so unless you're desperate to hit the blacks you should be ok. The weather is beautiful there at the mo- almost tee shirt weather, seriously!!!
I dont know this hotel but all the hotels/chalets are pretty close to the slopes and IT IS a seriously good price. Hope this helps someone :-)

Good find for a holiday this coming valentines day

Stayed at this place for a week from 9th Jan. Great budget place to stay, food very good, 100 yards from lift and near popular bars. Couldn't fault it.

And for this price - AMAZING!!

check snow conditions as I heard from a friend yesterday some parts of the alps are struggling for snow.
#16
Would love to go for the SKY TV !
still snowed in here.

and to kit you out on the slopes I've found a site doing 20% off animal snow gear, current season stuff too!

Out of interest how much would Ski + Boot Hire and the passes be per person?

Might help people who haven't been here before, because alot may be put off thinking it will be extortionate. thanks

I went to meribel last month and was €6 a pint, though found somewhere doing them for €3. depends where you go tbh.

I too love eating breakfeast.. its almost as nice as having a regular breakfast...:p:)

Glad someone's booked it. I'm heading back out a few weeks later and paying double this.

FYI breakfeast is a skiers breakfast :)
