sport edition.

The boot and rear leg room is huge on these cars, makes them a good option as a family car.

I'm not normally a fan of VAG cars, but the Skoda Rapid / Seat Toledo is under-rated.

The 1.2 Tsi has plenty of power with its turbo charger and gets good fuel economy.

lots of Skoda Rapids being used as taxi's so parts and servicing will not be a problem.

Good time to buy these smaller engined cars now. After the 17 reg you wont get these £0, £20 & £30 a yr road tax anymore, unless you go electric.

VAG means VW AUDI GROUP

I've never seen one of these on the road in 4 years since they were released. Very good cars, far better value and more reliable than their German cousin's.

Could they pull a 5 berth caravan though?

Not quite, but the Octavia, Yeti & Superb would, no bother!

white VAG is hard to keep clean .

i suggest getting the VAG waxed up so the dirt slides off.

heat added BTW wish I had the cash

Great cars, lovely drive, tons of legroom and a huge boot for their size. Test drove a used one last week and didn't hesitate to snap it up straight away.

I have a few points.

Firstly none of the VAG jokes are funny. None of them.

Secondly they stopped calling themselves VAG over 10 years ago. It's just Volkswagen Group these days.

Thirdly these cars are really not great, the quality of interior is far below any of the other Skoda models and I think a second hand Skoda Yeti would be a far better car in the long run.

Well firstly he wasn't being serious and No it doesn't stand for VW Audi Group. It's simply VW Ltd. AG being the German equivalent of our Ltd.

VW owns a lot of brands besides Audi. So no more reason to mention Audi in their name then Skoda, Seat etc.

Thumbs up on the Yeti comment. The Rapid doesn't get very good reviews but this is still a very good price, so I've voted Hot on this deal.

They cannot realistically be any more reliable since they are the same cars basically.
If you mean that just because there are far less gadgets and electronic systems on these cheaper models so less to go wrong, yes, but you could end up buying a non-electric windows car to avoid electrical issues etc

They share many components but are built in different factories in different countries using different people and different machinery. Of course reliability can differ. Just look at the difference in reliability between VW Amaroks built in Mexico and those built in Hannover for example.

This is the sport version

Loving the VAG jokes, all of 'em, PMSL :D8):p
#28
in response to the person who mentioned the £10500 deal, this is the sports model with more standard equipment and the higher powered version of the 1.2 TSi engine.

More standard equipment. that's a bit of a contradiction in terms.

Are you a blonde? Same colour does not mean same car.

I have this exact model and I love it, cheap to buy and run and handles like a go kart. £13k is a good price for this spec.
