So it's a Black Friday deal that starts on a Monday.

Bit of a rant here but am I the only one who's getting a bit **** off with companies not sticking to when Black Friday should be.Black Friday is on a FRIDAY yet so many companies now want to string it out for over a week or more before Black Friday is even here, yet use the words BLACK FRIDAY to sell their goods.

It's as bad as Poindland who now sell loads of stuff that's more than a pound.

What?its faster than BT and more stable despite using BT open reach fibre cables. I get 78mb and 19 up always. If you was on ADSL expect trash but if it was fibre then you should of been 30mb at min.

I'm getting 47 mbps with Virgin compared with 6 mbps with Sky. My dad gets 104 mpbs with Virgin.

Apples, meet pears.

Well existing ones got something to entice them to begin with so it's exactly the same treatment.

Suggest that was a problem with your line rather than Sky broadband. Would have been worth contacting support and getting them to take a look.

Ring and cancel if you're not happy, all you have to do is ring them threaten to leave them to get a deal!

Why would they offer you something if you're just going to pay anyway?
#14
There's an offer on now for existing customers, 1/2 price sports and movies for 6 months

Also for those with broadband speed issues, remember there are 2 main networks in the U.K. Virgin Media and Openreach, Sky use Openreach which is the same as BT, Talk Talk, Plusnet and others, if you're on that network, the speeds will be similar between all providers.

Sky was the most reliable service I ever had, there loyalty to customers is a disgrace though,

Does anyone know of any Black Friday deals on SkyQ for existing customers?

I saw it mentioned on another Sky post on here that there could potentially be a discount on the £12 SkyQ multi-room fee.
1 Like #22
With Virgin about to announce 4K Tivo, Sky should put out some Sky Q upgrade deals for existing customers.

Even if not free, a discount on 4K TV would be a good move. I know a lot people who despite liking the feature set of Q, have held off as they feel a 4K TV would be needed.

Any trick to avail for existing customers .. no termination charge on me but 6 months remaining on contract

thats because thats fibre optic and you was on ADSL copper wiring with sky, completely different versions, thats like a skateboard racing a Ferrari. Sky is superior to virgin for fibre optic in regards to download consistency an uploads speed and peak time speeds.

They are not going to call you. You need to google "going back to sky "and you will get live chat. They will offer your the deal. At first they will offer you 60% but you will need to haggle to get 75% off and £100 credit. They will try and get you back for £50 credit.

getting an £80 a month package for £30 is way better than any of them rewards.

Therefore cold from me.

£30.40pm for the Box Set Bundle and Xbox One S with FIFA 17 = £365 over the 12 months for what is effectively worth £700. That is a good deal whichever way you look at it. Bear in mind most new customers on average do not get close to £30 for an £80 package.

Likewise £510 over the 12 months for the box set bundle, multiscreen and a 43 inch UHD TV as well as £15 install for 2 boxes and the ability to watch in 4K. Not bad at all.
#40
the bundle you mention is a saving of approx £335 yes?? But saving £50 a month for 12 months is a £600 saving-which i believe is still avail through mse for the sports/movies/boxsets for £30 a month-and if its not, i apologise but was only a few days ago-which i have got. And even multi screen bundles via mse are still with savings of the same amount.
