SKY Branded DVD+RW (ReWriteable) are supplied in handy cake tubs of 10

The advantage of buying rewritable discs is that they can be written to many times - by simply erasing the DVD you can re-record as many times as you wish. As long as you keep the DVD free from scratches and dirt, these should last for a very long time.

Here's a Tip......Buy a minimum of 4 packs. Any less and they add on postage. And select the bottom postage option (1st class standard as stated earlier). Good deal!

ordered 4 packs.. these might come in handy, might sell a few off at car boot to recoup costs.
#12
Thanks:thumbsup:

i wanted to buy sky discs from ebay as there were so cheap, but alot of reviewers said they had lots of coasters so i would avoid them, plus 2x speed is just too slow.

just checked one bulk seller and all the feedback said 'great disks' etc

seller :- http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/community/myWorld/imgBuddyIcon1.gifparadyne.systems

then again, some said great value and they were paying £5.99 for 10, not 99p :-D

cant go wrong at this price I reckon. SVP are great for refunds if any problems anyway

its slow but whats the rush when you're burning a film. Its only about 20 minutes.
#21
2 x is very slow. That's why they are cheap.
#22
ordered 4 packs thank u
#23
nice!

Ordered!

They also have these crummy 1GB flash drives for 69p.

http://www.svp.co.uk/technology/peripherals/external-data-storage/usb-flash-drives/upto-2gb/unbranded-usb20-flash-drives-with-swivel-cap-unbrand003_1gb-pen-drive-blister-packed.html

BTW, OP did you hear about this from the SVP newsletter? I heard about it on 9/11, but I thought it would be voted cold due to the poor brand.
#25
SVP. the company that refuse to unsubscribe you from their newsletter even when you tell them to stop and then reply to "guarantee you will never get another mail from us", yet a few months later send you another spam.

Time for the small claims court. scotchspam.org.uk

I see no sign of first class delivery, all I see is via courier, am I blind?
#27
its there for me, but isnt working :( them 69p pen drives are useful as well
#28
It doesn't give me free postage. I want to order 5, but it insists on £6.17 + vat postage. I'm checking out with paypal.
#29
delivery options changed about an hour ago ,they must have noticed there error!
#30

hence why they are so cheap. SVP rip people off with postage charges. They are a shower of *****.
#31
I wonder how much money they lose on free delivery days? Does anyone know the next one btw?

Hi,

Those on DiskDepot are NOT the same. SVP's are DVD+RW, the Disk Depot ones are DVD-RW. -RW's are infamous for being rubbish.

Not enough people reviewed them here to give decent review
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?dvdmediasearch=Sky&dvdmediadvdridsearch=&type=4&size=All&dvdburnspeed=All&order=Name&hits=50&search=Search+or+List+Media

Still, there is a high chance these are rubbish. :)
