From mse website

Until Thu 29 Sep, newbies to Sky* (or those who left 12+ months ago) who take its £17.40/mth line rental can get its broadband 'free' on a 12-month contract.

Plus you get a £100 Mastercard. Anyone who already has Sky TV or takes it at the same time can't get this deal and won't be eligible for the Mastercard.

Sign up to Sky Broadband*.

Pay line rental monthly. It's £17.40/mth, so £208.80 for the year.

Unlimited broadband 'free' for 12 months. After the 12-month contract ends, it then rises to £10/mth, so diarise to switch at this time. You also get a 'free' compulsory router, though you pay £9.95 p&p.

£100 Mastercard – but you'll have to claim it. Once your broadband is activated. Go to the Sky website and log in using your account details (you'll get these when you sign up). Make sure you claim it within 90 days – you should receive it within 28 days. See how to claim your reward.

If you take the standard broadband, the line rental, and the router p&p, the total over the 12-month contract is £218.75, equiv to £18.23/mth. Plus, you can claim a £100 Mastercard.

If you factor the Mastercard in it's £118.75 over a year, equivalent to £9.90/mth.

- What about calls? Calls costs are a bit more than BT to landlines but a bit less to mobiles (11.5p/min to landlines and mobiles, 16.9p connection-fee). Sky also has an unbilled calls credit limit – see below for info.

- Need a new line? If you don't have a line, or you're switching from cable, you'll need to pay for a new line. However, if you have a BT line but pay another provider to use it, or you pay BT for your phone line, you may still have to pay the fee (see below).

- Direct debit is the only way to pay. You won't be able to get this deal otherwise.

Click through TCB and you get the card too so another £68.25 off!

So potentially another £5.68 off making this deal £4.22 a month not bad i think!

I never had any problems with sky but just got a cracking deal on BT with fibre

what deal did you get with bt

For those who need a new landline, such as annoyed Virgin customers, who would consider Sky, the all in charge would be £5.88 p.m. That cost would take into account the minimum new installation charge of £20, plus router charge and the cashback from TCB and Sky. As line rental is obviously charged, like every provider, the 24/7 phone package could be added for an extra £8 p.m. if needed. If a TV package is added if would probably affect the cashback available from both TCB and Sky.

Not sure about OP but I have just ordered from BT:
Unlimited Infinity 1 fibre
Tv entertainment Plus (incl youview+ box)
Phone + weekend calls
Free online BT sport
Free AMC
for £39.99 pm plus £156.55 cashback from TCB (tracked, pending) AND £100 BT mastercard.

Not a bad deal at all. It's listed on here somewhere.

Same here forgot to add bt tv as only a tenner set up! Done infinit 1 plus line rental but will add the tv later and get a deal!

Got £150 card plus £50 cheque plus £120 back from tcb already tracked! So £320 off worked out about £10 a month but payed the extra £2 so can pay my bill cash and cheque! Hope this deal helps out some people who have fairly fast standard broadband connections!

Please please please if you value your time, do not sign up to SKY broadband, you will experience intermittent signals and slow speeds and will spend hours on the phone. Sky tv is great but broadband is so poor.

That £100 on the mastercard can't be used to bring your bill down though? Or it can, but only once you get it - which means you have to sign up with one card and have a couple of payments come out and then change the card on your account to the mastercard when it comes. Bit of a faff. This time last year Sky just reimbursed the funds straight onto your account.

when did you get this? BT only doing £100 card now and why would you get £50 cheque?

Sometimes they do extra deals if you click through a website managed to get the deal up and it tracking through TCB! The card can be used to pay the bill and as mine is quarterly cash and cheque there are no payments as i have not shared any of my details with them! In fact they have not sent any bill through the post. Mine goes live next week! Sky charged me £3 to leave a month early so thats great!

I've been with them for years switching between myself and the Mrs for new customer offers, always very cheap and getting solid 21mbps download (non-fibre) Currently on the £10 for a whole year MSE deal.
