So broadband deals rarely go hot on here. But worth a shot as this is super hot in my opinion.

Sky basic broadband (decent enough for most people). Is currently free for 12 months (£10 afterwards) on a 12 month contract with £17.40 line rental.

However you currently get a £100 prepaid Mastercard if you're a new customer.

If you go on TopCashback they give you a deal with a £75 prepaid Mastercard + £65.65 cashback. However when I clicked through TCB through to SKY it said the mastercard was £100 and this was confirmed on check out.

Line installation is £20 and router delivery is £9.99.

Best case scenario (which I'm pretty confident of):

£17.40 line rental + £29.99 installs cost - £165.65 in mastercard/cashback = broadband for £6.10 per month.

Worst case scenario if it all goes t*** up:

£17.40 line rental + £29.99 install costs - £75 mastercard (and TCB doesn't track/fails) = £13.65 which is still pretty cheap.

I think this deal from Sky's deal list is at least a year old.

Yep, similar things have been posted but I think this one just pips it to the post.
Either way it seems to be the cheapest 12 month broadband option out there at the moment.
If you want >12 months or aren't willing to change every 12 months, then it's not for you. But for me it's excellent.

Definitely only one mastecard available and it's the £100 one. Still a decent deal.
#4
Darn it - Sky broadband literally went live today, however last week they were only offering a £75 mastercard...chances of complaining to see if they will add another £25?
#5
done this with the £100 m&s voucher and £70 cashbck, all sucessful. got my sons school uniform for free and some money in my account, worked out about £44 for whole years Broadband, which has been brilliant for my kodi and gaming needs

Its free on price, what is the usage limit there, if any?

not sure if it still works but if you add any time calls it shows up as free, for 12 months also
took the offer out couple weeks back, with just £75 mastercard, unlimited broadband plus free anytime calls extra, all for just £17.40 line rental

this would have been perfect. unfortunately it no longer works :(

The broadband is only showing as free for 9 months for me.

Ah, because I clicked on a '9 months free' student offer on Facebook and it was still in my cookies. Doing it in an incognito tab now.

Just ordered. How long does it usually take to track on TCB?

EDIT: £65 got tracked on TCB after a couple of hours. Great!

My Cashback has tracked successfully and is pending - it won't go through until installation and payment etc.

Are you factoring in the £100 M&S voucher for that £44 total cost ?
If so you paid for your son's uniform :p
can't have it both ways

rubbish broadband.
#19
mine worked out even cheaper as I'm taking over a line already in the property.. saving £29.99.. so I work it as:

£17.40 * 12 = £208.80
delivery £9.95
total £218.75

£165.65 in cashback and card

total = £53.10 / 12 = £4.42 per month

Best to delete the cookies with ccleaner

Why wouldn't they? Mobile call quality is garbage.

I commented on this promo when it was previously listed. The TCB cashback has long been listed as £68.25, so check that it will be eventually updated from your info. Not a lot of difference but they should honor what is stated !

I did this a while ago with the £100 m&s card, £70 cashback and free broadband for a year.
Cheap as chips. Shame Sky is one of the worst for speeds over wifi but I will survive for a year...
#29
more than one year with the sky topcashback since tracked, then claimed several times but never got paid. Checked tcb reviews, all good. Searched online, found out it is very common. Basically, after one year subscription with sky, you will only receive cashback if you are lucky...

It's like buying Nokia 3310 when you can get Samsung s5, s6 or other smart phone for low price.
I can't imagine pay for 2 Mb or up to 8Mb broadband when you can't watch Netflix amazon TV or even Kodi.
I think this is a deal for retirement people or living where fibre doesn't reach .
Not good to me.
#31
I have sky but was looking to sign up as new customer (in my partners name). But it shows no broadband unlimited available in my area even though I am currently using that!

Any help and advice?
#32
thanks for your valuable input
#33
Do you mean no fibre optic broadband available in your area?
Unlimited broadband can be anywhere doesn't matter on location.
I think you got mixed up...

21mb download for me with standard sky broadband. Why pay for more if you don't need it? Heat added.

If you articulate your experience with others it will be infinitely more useful than "rubbish broadband"

If you get 21 Mb/s download please post this on this forum. They possibly say UP TO 21 ☺. Also upload if you will get 1Mb/s upload will take you a while before you get you pictures uploaded to photo box or other printing services.
I don't know how old are you how often you connect to your local WiFi and how many home users you have but I'm telling you that you won't get 21Mb/s for sure.
#39
I'm an existing customer and managed to get 38mb unlimited BB for just £17.40, inclusive of line rental.

Really really push hard if you're an existing customer. There are great offers to be had.

that poor they give it away
