Shame there are no deals for sky fibre customers!

Shame its such a poor speed in my area 1-2Mb compared to VM 30+
Seems it extends your current TV contract so if you have an offer running it will convert to full price during the offer period.
To keep free Sky Broadband Unlimited for 2 years you must activate Sky Sports 5 and keep Sky TV and Sky Sports for offer period,
Seems to me you don't want to be activating anything during your contract as it seems to extend it into a portion where it will have gone to full price. I asked for an extra box but was told I would have to then pay full price for my subscription (currently half price) for 5 of the new 12 month contract.

When I came to end of my contract on the sky fibre I told them I can get fibre internet cheaper at Talktalk so they asked how much and sky beat talktalk price by £1!

I took the sky deal for twelve months didn't change my monthly payments with sky for the tv package I have. And when it goes back up I'll renegotiate again then.

I got sky broadband free and just pay line rental. So if you're going to upgrade to sky sports just to get this deal, it isn't worth it.

A similar deal exists for Fibre...if you are a sports and LR customer also you can qualify for Half price Fibre for 24 months...this will recontract your LR and Fibre term.

renewed my sky a few days back. They don't do discount on paying lune rental up front now.

Also be aware that what they give with one hand they take with the other. ... Sky sports is going up by £2.50 in September

Yep, all Sky prices increasing by 10% in September which is why they are trying to tie customers in now with offers.

Mine is a 7% increase - but i havent been in contract for years - so understood from MSE that it was 10% for customers in contract

But be it 7% or 10% its a ridiculous increase just to try and take BT on with a "free broadband" message instead of BT's "free sport" message

I've just cancelled my sky broadband after phoning them up. For 10 quid a month you can get fibre bb with bt and get the bt sports package for free, sky was unwilling to price match so see ya!!! Ps. You can watch the bt sports package on the sky box still.

I said I was not happy with my speeds, so they gave me 80/20 for £20 for 12 months, free multi room and free hd .

Sky are trying to tie people in to a 2 year deal with their broadband & ''new'' European football channel. But they only have European football for 1 more year, as BT have the rights for the following year. WARNING Don't tie yourself into a 2 year deal
