Inspired by the previous retention deal, I called Sky about 10 minutes ago citing the offer here for £10 per month, and they matched it. I then asked for fibre, and they said they could do me it for £10 a month too, with £50 activation fee, and then I just fumbled around deciding whether or not to spend the extra £50 for speed I don't really need. I asked for some credit, and the lady popped £20 credit it. I'm sure the savvier of you lot may get even more credit.

The fibre speed is a bit over double the normal broadband speed of 17mb to 39-40mb.

Again, this is mainly so you can use this as leverage when renewing your broadband so you don't get screwed over! Hope it helps!

To note: There is NO line rental for this, so it is a flat £10 a month for 40mbit broadband.

Every fibre deal has a £17.40 line charge, so please tell how why you state NO line rental?

had the £10 fiber deal for the last 3 years now, seems to be the standard.

You negotiated a good deal but these offers are never guaranteed. If you speak to the right person on the right day who is in the right mood you may get this lucky. Often you won't.

Because I got offered it for no line rental price.

Again, I just thought it would be good to use as a leveraging tool when calling them yourself.

And on fibre yr limited gig usage not unlimited.

Have to say that I gave it all up in the end... it was just to much hassle... can't say I've really missed any of it ;)

hard to believe sky will give you just Fiber BB for £10. it might just be standard ADSL bb with discounted line rental, which I was offered today for £10.

You my friend need to read the 3000+ replies on the misc thread on Sky Retentions!

Yes, YES, YES!!!, as a last-resort retention deal Sky will offer £10 all in for Fibre inc Line Rental, IF you are willing to chat to different agents online, be nice to them, scope it out and wait for someone to do the deal.

It is possible to get some crazy deals. I myself was offered original plus sports for effectively £15 a month today but going to try again in a day or two to see if I can scope the big prize of £10.60pm for original and sports (60% & £100 credit) - the deal exists every so often!

It's possible to get the full pack inc Fibre for £30 as already mentioned in the thread.

Quit Sky, wait 21 ish days into the 31 day cancellation period, and then give it a shot!

I called Sky yesterday to see what deal they could give me as there are plenty of good deals around at the moment. I was paying £57.90 for Line Rental + Talk Anytime Extra (i think - the £8 one) + Call Divert + Fibre Pro. The guy said he couldn't do anything for the Talk package and call diversion but was able to offer me £7.40 off the line rental and £10 off the fibre.

So I'm now paying £40.50 per month. The £17.40 combined discount is equivalent to just not paying line rental, which I'm quite happy with. I could probably have got better if I persevered though.

When I sorted out a deal last week with Sky the guy applied an offer to my Fibre unlimited for £10 a month for life, well till 2099. As long as I keep Sports ill always have £10 Fibre unlimited.

my brother works for sky. You MUST have line rental to get bb/fibre. Unless you got free line rental for 12m, you will be paying £17.40pm.

Yes, guys. Obviously, I meant I got line rental free. I was trying to make it clear that I wouldn't have pay the line rental fee on top of the £10.

Blimey!
Never seen such 'andbags!

I'm trying to get rid of Virgin Media. BBnd is slow, stops & OD is awful!!!
Claims to be 70mbps but only 37-45mbs on a very good day.

How would a Sky Fibre Pkge compare, does anyone know?

Love these titanic Sky threads.
It's either happy happy happy or wind 'em up n watch 'em go!
Lol
I love HUKD...❤
