You will need to buy a quad LND then install, but these are cheap anyway....

Unfortunately the 5% discount doesnt work because its collection only.

'You will need to buy a quad LND then install, but these are cheap anyway....'

Sorry slightly OT.

I currently have normal Sky, if I bought a Sky + box, could I install it without having additional wires input, someone has previously stated about using 'splitters'?

Sorry I'm not a very technical person and not keen to have additional wires runnning around the house.

Thanks

Won't work with splitters you need a quad or double LNB. You can use your existing cable for sky and put it into the sky+ box but it will simply run as a standard box without the record facility so pointless I guess.

I've got a spare one sky told me to throw it away as I didn't get a full signal with it, but could have just been the cow boy installers you get first time round didn't install it right

None within 30 miles of either home or uni accomodation... :(
#13
I guess its like most of these end of line deals (ATI x1950 gt card was a prime example) in that they never show stock at branches even though some branches actually do have some albeit in their bargin bin section and no longer showing up on stock count.
#14
None within a 50 mile radius of Newport Gwent or Portsmouth, Hants! Lost leader...cold.

Cheapest i could find for a Sky quad lnb £19.95. http://www.tracsat.co.uk/catalog/sky-quad-lnb-p-98.html

Its an older model (only 40gb of space), needs a different LNB and cabling and doesnt seem to be in stock. Not the warmest of deals.

it would record one channel and the pause/rewind tv features would still work (assuming you have a sky subs). would not be able to record two channels at once or even record one and watch another.

Cold, another DSG item with no stock.

another load of ****

:? None in N. Ireland either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#21

I rang PC World and its a website ERROR.....

Said its never been a deal and still waiting for it to be updated on site.

Brilliant deal !

POOR DEAL, as you would have to pay £10 a month for the SKY+ feature to work, or have a monthly subscription of some of the mix channels in order for the sky+ to work and you also need 2 LNB.

One thing you will find is that it may still be in stock in a store it just will not show on the website for [email protected] unless there are 4 or more physically in stock, silly really but there is no way of telling without actually going to the store.
