Is there a limit to the number of packs u can use I.e could I buy 12 packs and top up every month?

I have bought this pack and have researched it. There is no limit to how many you can use, however you will find that you have to cancel and resubscribe every month but if you forget to unsubscribe you will be hammered with the 34 quid monthly fee the next month. so basically if your organised enough to cancel it every month without forgetting then do it :D

There is an expiry date on skyplayer trial. The two that i have used had an expiry of September this year. So i wouldn't buy too many.

I bought this at ARGOS for the same price a couple of weeks ago (its still £15), and I actually saw it instore at GAME earlier this week (Buchanan Galleries branch, Glasgow) also for £15.

By the way I only bought it for the official remote and 3 month live card, I'm going to avoid using the 1 month sky card as;
A. I dont want to give my credit card details and
B. I know I'd end up getting stuck with a £34 bill at the end

im cancelling my virgin sky package at £20 a month and buying 6 of these so ill save 30 on the sports channels get 18months xbox live and sell the 6 remotes on ebay for at least a fiver a pop i would have thought meaning 6 months for 60quid inc 18months extra live as long as im careful seems a no brainer

Makes sense but it is a lot of hassle to cancel and resubscribe every month. I have just found out that after you subscribe and cancel you get to finish your remaining month before it is cut off. so you can subscribe and cancel at same time and save yourself the worry of forgetting to in a month and getting the 34quid whacked on your bill

QUESTION:

Does any know if this remote is a proper xbox remote, as in, works with the same wireless range that the controllers do? I have an xbox remote and its a line of sight one (like a normal tv remote) which is a pain as my xbox isn't situated 'line-of-sight' from my sofa (corner suite), though my remote looks like a gen xbox one, or is this normal? do they do remotes the same as the controllers?

thanks x

A mate of mine has this and said Sky was unwatchable as he uses a wireless connection and the picture froze a lot. Probably best if you have a fast internet connection and a wired connection from the 360 to your router.

A lot of new remotes now on eBay so if you are just after one of those you can get them for £5-£7 delivered. They are really good if you use the 360 as a media player. You can also get them preowned for £3.50 from CEX.

I've got wireless connection, not that great a broadband speed and have no problems watching on high quality. Rarely stops or stutters and never froze once in two months worth of trials.
