Good deal for existing customers this. Hot.

But new customers could get the same deal, plus half price package for twelve months here:-

Why the cold votes? This is for EXISTING customers, most others are for new!
You're not comparing like for like.

is this in all comet stores ?

Probably as some sky subscribers are hacked off as to why they would have to pay twice as much to have HD installed when they already have most of the equipment and the installation should take half the time to do.So not really a good deal for existing subscribers in the scope of things.

So is there a cheaper one elsewhere.. If not this is a good deal.

Hacked off all right paid initially to have sky installed, paid for upgrade to sky plus, paid for install when moved house. Now if i want HD they want to charge £60 to detach cables from one box and attach to another. Not on your nelly

FREEZING COLD

I have sky & wanted to upgrade to sky+ last year

I phoned them up & they wanted £150 at the time, So i did it myself - 2nd hand sky+ box out of local paper £20, Quad LNB off ebay £15, 10 meters of cable £5 - phoned sky up & got them to activate my free upgrade to a sky+ account,.

All done & dusted for £40 & best of all got a phone call from sky after 40 days asking if i was happy with the instalation?????????????

So when i want to go to HD - i will buy a box & plug it in myself thank you very much

They are only pushing the HD at the moment because they can cream £10 a month subscription for it, but most important - in 12-15mths the entry level box will be sky+ as they won't doing the standard ones any more

They can forget it while they are still wanting that extra tenner a month...I will stick with my higher quality downloaded mkv's and my popcornhour until then.
