No need for speaking over the phone, this can all be done ONLINE

The initial payment of £10 is deducted from your first monthly payment, our package is £23 so will therefore only be paying £13 after deduction

Were away to move house so I thought this was a much better deal rather than have SKY move my account, we just set one up in Lisa's name.

Ok here is what we did by going through TopCashBack

1. Head through TopCashBack (4 days left) and click to SKY
2. Build your package as new cust (ours was £23)
3. Enter details of install date etc
4. Pay initial £10 which is then deducted from your first bill, so in effect this is all free
5. Once all is done and verified it took around 3-4 hours for the 50 to be tracked :) sweet!

So that's - Free Installation, a Free Sky HD box, a £50 M&S voucher and £50 TCB (more if you take the HD pack)

Hurry with TCB though because the offer runs out in 4 days

You will never get the M&S voucher.

I've been a new customer a few times now, and not once have I, or the person who reccomended me, ever recieved the voucher. I've spoken to them (sky) time and time again, but nothing.

I just opted for Virgin and am far happier with the service. Check out this option y'all!

is this the best sky deal ? im wanting to get sky never had it before and cant get sky LLU services so cant combine broadband unfortunately :( i want the HD box but dont want the HD channels really

why is it so cold ?
#4
My folks received the voucher and so did my other half parents
#5
No idea why it's so cold mate, this is the best deal just now

everything is free and you DON'T need to take the HD subscription to get the HD box

remember to go through a cashback site, don't think Quidco has a good rate but TCB does :)

I'm well happy with my deal

Last week I got free HD box, free installation, 3 variety packages, HD package, all movies and one multi room - £25 a month. But then that was a friends & family offer through a mate who works for them. :p

£65 through Quidco if you take the HD package, plus the £50 M&S voucher. Which is still pretty good. The HD is worth it though, especially for the movie channels.

I'm looking for a Sky HD deal at the moment, I just don't think this is the deal for me.
I think I need to get cosy with someone who works for Sky (_;)

Do you have to have a BT phone line to use Sky Broadband ?

im just in last 6 months of my HALF PRICE world package deal,in total 18 months i have had at half price, great deal, anyone wondering wether to join sky for the tv dont hesitate, its the best out there, all the sky haters are just gimps, virgin is garbage for tv,even the picture is inferior let alone the packages, and anyone saying they did not recieve vouchers are you complete retards, why dont you ring up or do what people with brains do and write simple letter of complaint as i did when i got my deal of 12 months world package deal half price,i wanst even meant to have that deal as i was already with them and not a sky worker but i still got that deal and i even winkled 50 m&s vouchers out of them saying i should hav recieved them even though i shouldnt have on my deal,so just write them a complaint and ull get them, even just got another 6 months half price so like i said in total 18 months saving well over 600 quid in total, this deal is good and when deals up tell them ur leaving for virgin and they will offer you half price on any deal usually as 6 months is max virgin offer and sky match it always.

Wonder why this is soo brrrrr cold ???? I think it's pretty hot

Lol

We can't get Virgin in my area so this is why we have SKY

I haven't voted but people vote cold because its for new customers only and offers like this irritate the hell out of existing ones!! I've been a member of Sky for over 15 years and still have an original standard box with basic family package and it costs me more than new customers pay with nice new HD boxes with more channels! My bill has just risen no doubt to subsidise the new customer offers!

Sky are terrible. Our dish broke and it took FIVE engineers to come and see it. Everytime one came they looked up at the dish and said it was too high to fix- yet they managed to get up there to install it in the first place! We rang them up frequently, explaining the problem, but still they sent another engineer that couldn't do it. Very annoying, as you have to stay at home on the day they come. So we changed to BT Vision which is 100000000000000x better.

You should have asked them to take it off the mount, bring it down and then fix it.......

Q: how many engineers does it take to fix a dish
A: we will never know

:D

I always thought BT vision was a myth as i don't know anyone who actually has it. Any idea of the internet speed needed for it ?. I mean the real speed not the one BT would quote .

2007 I got the Tesco voucher redeemed off my sky bill

M&S vouchers came just fine on previous family sky orders.

I'd rather wait until may/june for better cashback deals., something which any voucher code destroys
#34
i cant get the hd box without taking hd subscription :S

Try and get a friends & family code, everythign will be half price, so sky world £25, HD £5, Multiroom £5

I did . I just rang up and said my standard sky+ white box was faulty and i had already phoned once about it and tried the reset that they had talked me through over the phone but it was still playing up. They asked if i had an HDTV . I said yes but i wasnt interested in HD and they gave me a free HD box with free installation. They dont make the white + boxs anymore so they have no choice but to give you a HD one . 2 engineers showed up to put it in which was a bit excessive as it was only a few wires to unplug. I get the free HD channels off it which is fine with me. :)

The HD box is the only one supplied now, they do not provide Sky + boxes any more.
