OK, I'm happy that Sky Q is not a deal, it's making 'loyal' customers pay more for what is essentially an update.
I am also aware there there are issues with Sky Q.
That said if you want it, then this may help you get it cheaper.
So for existing customers who have multi screen Sky want £198 for 'installing' a Sky Q box and one mini box. What you can do (according to the agent I spoke with) is order the Sky Q box and pay the outrageous £99. Then once that is installed you can request additional Mini boxes but this time it's self install and you only pay the postage saving your self £90+.
If you don't have multi screen then you can get both installed for £60, or £35 using this method.
