Went to Curry's today and they were offering Sky Q with the full package (all channels, HD, 1 TB box, movies + sports) for £40 a month. The same package is £80 a month from Sky direct. Price is valid for 18 months on an 18 month contract, so once it's up you can switch over or negotiate the price back down again. Also spoke to a Sky agent at a Sky pop up store and when I mentioned this deal he matched it for me, so it should be available direct through Sky too if you mention this deal. Receipt attached in pic.

Sky link is the "complete bundle" found here http://www.sky.com/shop/offers/sky-bundles/ for £80

Did you join as a brand new customer? Or existing customer coming to end of previous 12 month deal?

unless you are using a 2tb sky box it's basically no benefit over the old boxes. Only get ultra channel on the more expensive package, which are silly prices.

bt TV or Virgin are the main ones to watch the channels on. you can also get them through TV player on android devices

This pack was £30 last month! Parents are paying £42/mo for Q silver in 2 rooms and on all devices - works even more seamlessly than I thought it would went I was found recently - truly 'revolutionary'

Make sure you tell them you're leaving - just cancelling isn't enough!

Yea, I don't get why people do that. They'll just get a pro-rata'd bill plus late payment fee when they do pay it (which they will unless they are that mad about losing 12 channels that they'll put up with debt collectors knocking and go to court about it!)

I get this without sports and movies for £26..

By the way, Discovery have screwed up. Basically they'd paid a lot of money for the rights to show the Olympics on Eurosport and expected Sky to cough up the most of what they've paid (asking for £1bn to show 12 channels!)

The Discovery channels' viewing figures have been on the decline for a while so to expect that sort of money is ludicrous.

This is even worse news for BT and Virgin as Discovery will now more than likely ask those to pay even more.

My guess is the channels to be gone for a couple of months but then there'll be some deal worked out to get them back...

you would have been more effective writing a letter of termination. cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your contract you agreed to with sky.

like someone said previously why pay 40 pounds for this when others are paying only 30,unless of course you like to subsidize others getting a lower price than you.both sky and bt overpaid for football rights and were suppose to meet the bill ,no thanks, been on freeview for 2 years never regretted that decision,i do buy the cheap nowtv vouchers now and again though.

I'm in my notice period at Virgin. I'm looking for phone/BB/TV Broadband but no sports or movies. What's the best way for me to get the best deal. Quidco have decent cashback at the moment.

Do you just access the sky page via Quidco and negotiate via Web Chat? Has your cashback tracked?
