Cancelled Sky as I am fed up hearing from friends they are paying so much less for much more Sky services. Sky now offers me 50% off but not interested as I know I would go through this all again in 10 months time. People should cancel Sky in force they would the start to lower and standardise their prices.
A friend has just got Sky Q, broadband and phone for £31 per month, what are you paying?

That's what Virgin did to me after 7 years of being with them. So I went with sky Q and I'm paying a 3rd of what I was on virgin - for a lot more.

Sports, movies, Boxsets,(complete bundle) all in HD and sky q 1tb box £30. Posted yesterday, but not much heat. Never seen it cheaper-or in last 5 years.

Wait till the very end, day 30 and if they haven't called get in touch and you should get 60% off your TV, half price BB and possibly a £50-100 credit to your account, my son just did that he lost his BB for 4 days as was too late to stop the cut off but cut his bill by 45 per month and a free month from the credit to his account too, you have to play hardball to get a thing out of sky as an existing customer

free of sky from yesterday. they wouldn't offer me (12 year member) a single discount on Q so I left. now have a different box. stuff them
#18
Perhaps moral of story for Sky and Virgin etc be prepared to switch provider every year for best deals or disconnect then after 30 days sign up as new customer......

Any idea if there'll be any Black Friday deals for existing customers? A highly unreliable source has suggested to me there might be something planned. Thanks

My discount has gone to 60%. I'm not missing Sky one bit at the moment, well not as much as I'd miss the £104 a month. Netflix in 4k helps a bit, but I doubt Sky will offer me a Q package.

Also with quidco comes much cheaper

Quidco has a 33% discount deal - will you still get cashback if you go for the 50% deal? (Has anyone actually been succesful?)

Yes I realised that when I tried going through quidco. Also checked Topcashback and they are offering more than Quidco

Not sure if missmolly, or others have anymore insight on what Black Friday offers may be forthcoming for new customers!

I'm thinking towards, anything in terms of Fibre Max & TV Bundles?

Is that sky Q box the 1tb or 2tb?

Edit: and if the mini box is included I assume that it therefore includes the associated multiroom subscription for that £35?

Edited By: Billy1321 on Nov 07, 2016 12:28: Missed a question

That would be good. The £30 full package deal listed elsewhere on this site excludes the £12 multiscreen subscription (but oddly also comes with a mini box)

Sky updated the offer and removed the multi-room from the bundle so i've updated my post above.

The 1TB box is £30pm, I jusst ordered the 2TB box full package inc sports movies HD, boxed sets & 1x Sky Q mini box (multiroom) for £42 - cancelled my subscription and took this out in the wifes name as a new customer.
Offer ends 10th Nov so be quick.

I am offered 75% off original plan plus £12/ month multiroom subscription for 10 months on a 12 month contract however if i want to move to variety bundle or boxset bundle i am only offered 20% for 10 months. I have therefore cancelled my subscription it will end on the 10th dec. Can i now sign up to this offer on my mrs name now or do i have to wait till the 10th.

Thanks Bepto, let us know how the wife swap works :) looking to do the same, not sure whether to leave it a week or so or jumping straight in. I cancelled 2 days ago. Also read somewhere they dont always let partner with same name/address get the deal?

Cheers

Alan

Bepto I would also be looking to get my wife on as new customer so look forward to ur response!

Does anyone know if a communal sky dish causes issues with installation of sky q ? Sure I read something about this and I live in a flat

Do the deals include line rental and broadband? Or is this additional cost?

I do it every year, works fine, (unless I get a good come back offer, which i did, I got 60% off plus credit to account) so just waiting for that to finish (credit) and cancel and repeat) either by offer or by partners name

you need to wait until your 31 days notice you give to cancel is over before you attempt to re sign up tho (you cant have 2 accounts at same address)
