This is a very critical site, and a good thing, it means people point out flaws rather quickly and it makes ppl scrutinise their own information before posting :)

Although being civil and polite doesn't hurt.

That looks awfully like the DSG Pay Now Watch Forever thing for £75 but lacking in the mixes enturely meaning for 1 mix @ £15/month with I assume a 12month contract = £180 minimum cost, not to mention missing out on £125 quidco which would bring it down to £55 12months for 1 mix if ordered via Sky website directly

If a 6month contract, which you cannot assume as it would have to be specified (12month contract with Sky is a blatant given IMHO) then its 6x£15 = £90, which makes it inferior to the DSG offer and alot less likely.

Either way doesn't look good.

Noone can confirm any of this until they order it and reiceve it though, which won;t be until next week which is a shame.

We need someone who works for Woolies or went in store and enquired about this to give us more info before tomorrow

Note: The Nov 14th date, which coincides with the Mid November date from DSG are giving for all Sky Pay Now Watch Forever deals

Legend: DSG = Dixons Sales Group meaning either/and/or Dixons/Currys/PcWorld/PCWorldBusiness

Looking at it more closely and the DSG date conicidence I expect this is more likely the 6month deal but with the customer expected to pay for any mixes involved, but there is no mention if getting any pay tv mixes are mandatory or subdidised in any manner.

When though? I'm pretty certain the £30 install charge was to counter balance the imminent £125 quidco which was £110, previously £85 etc

from what i remember they had these in argos a couple of years ago and they contain your sky remote and the details you need to organise installation (free with these packs i think) but subject to 12 month contract. The only good thing i could really say about these is that they are a cheaper way of getting a replacement genuine sky remote (usually about £15) for when the kids decide its a good game to put them in a glass of pop!

I doubt it has a remote, I;m pretty sure it's a variation on the DSG deal.

With a Sky letter and special code to get you your free install (free dish, sat cable setup, digibox with remote etc) but with NO mixes thrown in at all making it quite poor versus going via quidco.

Woolies should of thrown in a £50 Woolworthes Gift Voucher or similar at the very least IMHO.

Updated OP. @ carole - Please see the links in my signature for help on posting deals. :) Linked it to woolworths, as that is the merchant, and please remember to post individual items as "product".

Thanks for the synopsis dandoc, I added it to the OP :)
