Hi all, my first post so kindly forgive any mistakes.
My sky tv ended last month after the required 31 days notice. I was already on 50% off the family bundle. They offered me 25% off to stay I said no. I do not have broadband or phone with them.
Today, I received a call from Sky offering me 50% sky tv, plus 2 months free. I said I wanted 75% off to justify coming back he said that wasn't available.
He then offered 60% off sky tv for 10 months and 2 months free.
So Family bundle (£33), Movies and Sports(£33) free for 2 months (it's Christmas might as well enjoy free tv).
Then cancel Movies and Sports.
Keep Family bundle HD @ 60% off for 10 months.
10 (33 x 0.4) = £132 for the year or £11/month
Not tied to a contract unless I want a new box.
Saving of 132 + 198 = £330 for the year.
Effectively, a saving of 71.4%
He called back and offered 60% off Sky TV (including movies and/or sports) for 12 months (no contract unless I opt for a new box) and an instant £100 credit to account.
Hope this helps someone.
