Full price before cashback now added as cashback is never 100%. Thanks for posting :)

The full price before cashback is £128.44 ;)

It is £16.12 per month x 12 = £193.44
less £75 bill credit by Sky = £118.44
+ £10 setup fee = £128.44

Then there is the £120.75 TCB (which isn't 100% guaranteed, but very very likely = £7.69 (64p per month)

But the bill credit is part of the agreement/contract from Sky themselves ;)

Are we not able to include those discounts ?

this could feasibly work out as sky's billing system allows overpayments if you pay online so you could pay whatever cashback you receive on to your sky account that way.

Sky have welched on 2 cashback deals I took so I wouldn't trust them

What if you've already had sky broadband less than 12 months ago? Are you a new sky customer because you've never had sky tv ?
#8
No Top Cash Back if using a communal dish. Bummer. Really wanted Sky.
#9
Always be careful with sky-twice I've signed up to receive credit and a gift but they were never honoured!
#10
youve not added line rental
#11
but still sounds a hot deal

Cancelled my Sky package last week. I had it on a offer half price for the first 12 months but then it went upto £100+ per month.
That was for 2x boxes, Sky Movies & Sports, BB £ telephone. Am thinking of moving over to Virgin as you get nowt for being a loyal customer these days! Anyone else recently cancelled Sky??????

I got a deal where I was better off getting Sky, £116 Topcashback plus £100 reward from sky and the sky package cost me £193.50!

This is for the TV package. The line rental is for the telephone service, which is not compulsory.

No, as you have been an existing Sky customer within the last 12 months this wouldn't apply for you. The T&C's state "If you have been a BSkyB customer in the last 12 months you will not be eligible for cashback."

That sounds like a deal I got a few years ago - Over the course of the 12 months they were actually paying me to take out the service :) Certainly can't beat that.

It is 25% off throughout the 12 months, but normally if you make changes to your package you would lose the discount.

I cancelled sky a few months ago and I was on the entertainment pack plus HD. I was paying £38.50 and never had a discount in the 14 years I was with them. They phoned me and asked if I wanted it for half price, then 75% off. The last time it was free for 12 months. I should've taken it but he phoned at a bad time. Anyways I only miss it for recording stuff. If you can leave it for a few phone calls it will get cheaper. Or get a 'dodgy' box. Heard they are quite good lol.

My discounts expired was paying more than £100+ a month for the whole shebang phoned up gave my cancellation notice was only offered a 10% discount got off the phoned and switched the phone and broadband to BT immediately.

The leaflets and phone calls started offering various discounts stayed strong a few days before the cut off point agreed upon £36 a month for sky hd+ and 2 multirooms.

Im in the process of cancelling mine.

I pay £82.50 for 2 boxes full tv package a month. No bb as thats with virgin. Ive been with them for 21 years and never had any discount. When i rang and said it was too much they advised to just get rid of movies and sport......and it was still £49. So when i told them i wanted to cancel they offered me a tenner off for 8 months if i kept the full package and signed up to a new 12 month contract. Think they must think im stupid.

So mine cancels on the 12 january.

Just received a letter offering me family bundle for £21.45 instead of £33. Saving me £11.55. Still have to sign up for 12 months and would still need to add multiroom on top if that for the 2nd box so only saving me £11.55.

Just going to ride it out until i get a decent deal. I dont really want to leave but you dont get anything for being loyal nowadays.

Just bought a nowtv box with entertainment pack for 3 months and free 30 day movie pack so will use that on th 15th jan. only cost me £14 and i can use it for youtube vevo and catch up. i know nowtv is owned by sky but i wont be paying for any more passes once they finish. If i dont get a decent deal in the next couple if months i'll move to virgin for tv as well as my bb.

So mine cancels on the 12 january.

From past experience I'm sure you will be offered as a minimum 50% off for 12 months once your date has passed.

I can only go off my own experience. After cancelling I would get letters in the post with different deals. I think they were mostly half price on any package for 12 months.

Thanks - I was surprised it isn't getting many hot votes, and I'm not sure why people are voting it cold.

With persistence you can get 50% off 12 month packages by talking to their sales team online. If unsuccessful, try again a few days later. You WILL get 50% off if you try.

. if its the same address then it will flag up on the system and they will try to get you to re-sign on a special deal, ive been with sky since 2001 and for only 2 years ive paid full price, im currently paying 35 pounds for full sky hd package + phone + unlimited broadband , a little haggling here n there with sky can get you big discounts!

Just cancel the deal your currently on if out of contract and get partner to open up another. If it flags anything up and states your partner can explain that you no longer live at that address and they'll be the new customer and bill payer

Isn't Sky bBroadband a load of rubbish compared to my Virgin Fibre Broadband?
