Skyrim (PC) with Creation Kit & High Res DLC - Steam Midweek Sale £23.00
Skyrim's on sale again (PC), for those who missed it on Greenmangaming's very short sale!
They just released the creation kit (allows modding) and high res texture pack (3GB download!) with it too.
I had a -33% Bethesda coupon, so I got it for £15. Check your Steam inventory to see if you got any coupons in the Christmas sale event!
You can also get the whole Elder Scrolls collection for £31 if you fancy it.

Jump to unread Post a CommentThey very recently came out with a new patch that helped a lot of people. I'd say it's definitely the right time to bite if you're on PC.
Even if you already have this on console, buy it for PC if you're a fan! Why? I'm dead serious; the modding content in Oblivion more than doubled the game's lifespan (easily!)... Skyrim's modding scene is most likely going to be even bigger and better. It's crazy what they came out with. You'll see stuff from simple mods to complete overhauls and transformations.
Weird, it didn't seem to download anything extra at all for the texture pack in Steam for me. It is showing up as DLC under the game's options though.
Anyone know why?

Do you already own the game? It may have downloaded in the background while you were away. It downloads in a compressed form, so while it may be 3 GB unpacked, you won't actually download that much. You can check how much space Skyrim takes up on your HD. If it's 8 GB like me, then you most likely have the texture pack installed.

It only downloads when you try and launch the game - but the servers are melting at the mo

You can use that -25% Bethesda coupon you already have on Skyrim. Obviously it would be even better if you could get a higher coupon (like a -33% or -50%), but -25% still isn't bad if you don't find anyone to trade with.

Yeah i was hoping for a 33% or higher but if all else fails i can get it for about 17.60 so not bad.
