Too bleeding ear hard-edged for my tastes, but for £2.99 each these seem a mega bargain for fans of seminal thrash/heavy metal band Slayer.. (next cheapest for each £9+!!)

Next Best:
Show No Mercy £9.93 @ Asda
Hell awaits £9.39 @ Amazon UK
Live Undead £9.93 @ Asda

Show No Mercy:
-----------------
Description:

Remastered and repackaged with lyrics and straight from Satan's lair, the first 4 SLAYER releases, these are the album's that set the tone for extreme metal and spawned a gazillion imitators. Lets make NO MISTAKE, without Slayer their would be no SLIPKNOT, PANTERA, SEPULTURA, THE HAUNTED, the list is endless, if Black Sabbath are the God Fathers of Heavy Metal then Slayer are surely THE KINGS OF THRASH! "Show No Mercy", "Haunting the Chapel", "Live Undead" and "Hell Awaits" set the bench mark for all that is extreme. From the opening riff of Show No Mercy's "Evil Has No Boundaries" to the closing back masked message on "Hardening of the Arteries" from "Hell Awaits", that we all now know is "join us, join us join us" backwardsIt just doesn't get better than this. These 4 metal masterpieces were the groundbreaking pioneering releases that caused a entire movement that is still very much alive and "thrashing" today. These landmark releases represent the bands formative years on Metal Blade Records prior to signing to Rick Rubin's Def Jam label and producing what is possible the best thrash album ever made "Reign in Blood". 20 years on and Slayer have stayed true to their cause, never attempting to stray from the formular that has made them the ultimate metal band with a legion of fans that is second to none in the metal world.

Wouldn't be buying anything from CDWow right now.

Ordered live undead...lets see what happens!
#3
Got these last time they were this price.

Well worth it, especially for the separate versions of Hell Awaits and Live Undead. They're rarer than the combined version. I believe these copies are from Australia. At least, mine were.

And ignore the anti-CD Wow sentiment. I've ordered a huge number of things from them and never had a problem. The one time they did have an item labelled up incorrectly (it was a single, but they'd listed the album online) they not only refunded me, but also the return postage for me to send it back.

My comment was because they are in adminstration, not because of them generally.

Awesome cheers, getting any Slayer for under £5 is really good but the early stuff especially.

I've ordered from them since they went into administration with no problems at all.

+1

CD-WOW aren't perfect, however, they are quite safe to order from now. I've had over half a dozen orders completed no problem since they went in and out of administration. Rest easy. ;)
#8
Well my copy has apparently shipped already so I guess the administration talk was nothing to worry about!
#9
Yup if anyone's in any doubt both the CDs I've ordered have arrived ok.
#10
Yeah mine arrived today too. Thanks OP!

Saw Slayer (SLAYER!) for the first time around 1987/88 on the South of Heaven tour at Rock City in Nottingham. Theye were on really late, we missed the organised coach back home and had to get on a 4am to Luton / Heathrow special to get back to Leicester as the sun came up.

For me, it will always be the best concert ever.

Fantastic, cheers.

Bargain.

Shame the shops don't play this instead of Slade,Wham etc at Christmas
Would be fun to hear 'Evil Has No Boundaries' whilst browsing the shelves
