be interesting to hear anyones experience (ahem, so to speak) with one of these. im on the look out for a new mattress and memory foam seems to be the way forward, this is a good reduction but would like to know the firmness of it, or would it be worth spending £50 more for this? http://www.tjhughes.co.uk/House_&_Home/Memory_Foam/800104?option_string=754_
like i say, would be good to hear what people say who own a similar spec.
good find!

Not familiar with this brand, but we swear by our memory foam matresses now. We got ours from a bed warehouse, and they are not a well-known brand either, but still excellent.

Think ours are similar. 4-5cm memory foam seems to be par for the course unless you spend big bucks.

Memory foam mattresses are hot, sticky and sweaty. Me and my ex-wife found it so, and my girlfriend's daughter has it in her Uni bed and she says the same:?
#16
4cm of memory foam is no good, voted hot, you need at least 5cm 2" or even 7.5cm 3" to support your back.

Depends on what you buy. We have a Tempur one. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for with memory foam. It's well-made, super comfortable and certainly not hot or sticky ever.
#19
You really need 8cm/3 inches of memory foam. Anything less does not work as as it should.

After a while your body gets used to the foam and you should find that you do not feel so hot and sticky. At least that's what I experienced.

Where is the best place/best deal to get a Tempur one? As have fancied one for a while-so to speak!

We got ours at a local store who had better prices than the internet stores. Also, you can get the VAT off if you have a medical reason for the bed. I'm disabled and only had to fill in a short form in-store. I think this is only true of the Tempur mattresses as they are classed as medical, unlike other memory foam beds.

Hi I haven't voted cold on this but I got a 20cm memory foam mattress that was £759 in the sale for £300 from sleepright the bed store and two Coolmax pillows that were £119 each for £25 each on the 29/12/2008.

I genuinely do not believe that 4cm of memory foam will make much of a difference in fact I think the title of this mattress and its discription are misleading and TJ Hughes could be under fire from the Trading Standards Agency.
