The air vents surrounding the mattress help with improved air circulation letting the mattress breathe. The Chilton 2000 is 23cm deepis available is 3 sizes and we have a wide range of bedsteads from our website to suit this mattress. Please note as this is a memory foam mattress you may expect a slight odour within the first week of use. This is due to the fire retardant spray used on the memory foam.

OK here is the thing;
This amazing KING SIZE bed is sold by on their own website at £579 with a no-drawer base.
They also sell it via for £375 - exactly the same item, but for over £200 less.
These prices include next day delivery.
It's available in other sizes too, but I am going to focus the attention on the king size, as that is what I ordered and received.

I spoke to mattressman about this discrepency, but they were unable to sell me this bed directly from their own website for the same price as they were selling it on edirectory. The point I was trying to make was that I wanted to buy something else from them and thought it would make sense to get it all from one place (edirectory didnt sell the other unrelated item).
So it seems, they are happy to sell it via a 3rd party web site for a crazy low price; even lower than the already low price on their own website. £579 at main site £375 at edirectory (but again sold by mattressman)

I ordered on Friday, and it arrived Monday morning.
Can't believe how damn cheap this was. A bed that would likely cost over a thousand pounds from a high street store delivered to me next working day for merely £375!

I've added a price and retailer name to the thread title, please try to include. Thanks.
You cannot put links in the body of a deal, only in these replies.
Right OK, thanks.
I've just bought the Chilton 2000 mattress from Mattressman and that was £375 on its own for the 4' 6" size. :x
Just ordered this thanks - been looking out for a good value Double Bed, hope Mattress Man do process the order now. Will update when/if it goes through.
Welcome to HUKD Vaxbax!
Thanks - been lurking a while but thougt it only polite to register and say thanks.
How good is this mattress? Has anyone used one of these for a while, and if so what is your experience?

Is it really a great deal considering you get a basic bed base excluding any drawers/storage? Any info much appreciated!

Just called mattress man based on the confirmation email I got to try to confirm the delivery. They infrom me this is a pricing error on edirectory. I ordered the Double at £325 from edirectory, the actaul price they wanted was an additional £170 to include the divan base.

Essentially eDirectory are showing the mattress only price. So I obviously cancelled my order.
I have just ordered a king size. I received a call asking for additional payment as there was an error on the site. The bed has now been removed ( so i am told ).
I don't know what to say guys.
I have the mattress and the base here all for £375.

Looks like they've changed the prices on edirectory.
Very sorry; feel free to ignore this item.
