I am looking for a new mattress, the one that we bought is a memory mattress, what a waste of money, it's like sleeping in a hole and you can't move!!!.

£399 is a lot of money for a mattress only, but I have had a good sleep on a travelodge bed.
We often travel around asia and we love the hard firm mattresses,
Regards the 1000 springs, I guess all mattresses will be different with designs, so cheap from another company won't be has good, seen adverts for Sleepeezee Backcare Deluxe 1000 Mattress which is a lot cheaper, but unsure if it's the same mattress.

Sleepeezee use slaves to make they mattresses. Watched Dispatches few weeks ago
So does primark, Nike, adidas, bic pens, pampers nappy, next. U gonna throw all that stuff out?
Or put ur used clothes in the charity to give them back to the same people who made them. They might just see that as an added insult.

Knowledge affords you choices if these things matter to you beyond sheer price.

pampers nappies are made in Manchester and last time I was at the site there weren't any slaves there

950 pocket springs in a king size mattress for £449 isn't so great.
Hi there, any recommendations? (Not being argumentative, thinking of a purchase).
For similar money you could get this one
This sounds daft, and I could probably Google around and read reviews but what would an extra 1000 springs give you? Is it, for example sturdier and better for your back? Longer lasting?
Not necessarily. Inevitably, there are all sorts of different springs. Some big, some small, some a lot better than others. More springs doesn't necessarily mean a better bed.

And it isn't by any means just springs that count - it's every bit as much to do with the amount of padding used, what it's made of, and the quality.

Vispring is about the best you can get. It will last longer than pretty much anything else, but it is expensive. John Lewis have their own Vispring mattresses - rather cheaper than most other Visprings.

Fantastic, thank you also!
