Cant say if it'd be any better than b&q own brand .

B&Q one is not a sliding one - these are more versatile allowing you to cut a wider work piece

I have the B&Q one, and its rubbish TBH. Its completely inaccurate; the mitres are never exact, and stright cuts cant be lined up accurately.
This one loos better, but ifs its a one off job, just hire a trade quality machine. Dont waste your money on these things.

I bought one similar from screwfix (Titan) a few years back and never looked back brilliant tools and so versatile cutting mitre's a sinch and pretty accurate definately a sliding as you can cut deep skirtings much easier also good with the 210mm diameter blade quite a common size, think i bought a set from Aldi £8.99 rip/medium/fine blades + 3 year warranty what more do you want?

PS : Mine has laser but i think its just a gimick never used it really!

There is a B&Q sliding - performance power one . its £79.99, but the bore is 24.5mm which seems uncommon.

Screwfix titan sliding is £79.99 and has 30mm bore

I bought the B&Q one with 15% off, but I've not used it yet - tempted to take it back because 24.5mm bore blades are harder to find that 30mm

Took it back the B&Q one, found even they dont sell 24.5mm bore blades! So will go for this one as I suspect it has 30mm even though it does not state this.
