I would of thought you could buy one of these with a laser for quite a bit less

Edit: Sorry I have just seen its sliding. You can buy one with laser for about the same money.

Just have a look at B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation & even argos. The will all have a range of compound mitres for the same money give or take a couple of quid.

The problem with buying one from Lidl is after a couple of weeks you cant just walk in & change it if it breaks.

Its not a bad deal there are just others about.

I would post examples but I have looked already & with all due respect to you I am knackered & am buggered if I will be doing it twice.

I have a Rage Evolution 3 myself that I picked up from Screwfix in the summer when they were on offer.

A compound mitre saw is not as good as a Sliding Cross Cut Mitre Saw though, I agree they can be picked up for similar money but it isn't as versatile as a Sliding Cross Cut Mitre Saw hence the extra cost everywhere. This Sliding Cross Cut Mitre Saw is the same sort of money as an inferior compound mitre saw. Your comparison is not comparable.

Like I said. I am knackered.

Please see below. All available with cashback, discounts & vouchers.

Also you can take them back & pick up a new one if they break.

I would look harder but that is enough now.

You should have gone to bed then lol.

The Argos one is £10 more, although you can take it back in the first 12 months and exchange it (assuming they still do it or have an similar model to give you) is fine, but what do you do after 12 months? The Aldi one has a 3 year warranty so at least you would get your money back, or they would send it off for repair, Argos would just send you packing.

I did see the screwfix one but reason I didn't include it as it's on special offer and may not be available when the Aldi one is. Again, it would only come with a 12 month warranty.

Screwfix one are all gone.

This one is a lot nicer looking than the Titan (I have always found Titan to be fairly clumsy in design)

Looks like a good deall if you only want an 8" blade. I have a 10" and often wish I had 12" (Then don't ALL men?)

Good deal with 3Yr warranty.
