Its not that I agree or disagree, but I cease to see the comparison between a £17.99 bluray Transformers movie and Slumdog Milionaire for £5.95.
Are they comparable in any way?
Its not a favourite movie vote, its wether you think the posted item is cheap for the price, as far as I am aware anyway.

Um, both films have robotic characters? Both are battles between good and evil. However one is about trying to save the earth the other one is the usual "we are India, feel sorry for us and give us more credit than we deserve because we are India" flick about some kid who goes to a an evil tv show and then ends up spending the rest of the movie living a fairytale of finding the girl of his childhood dreams.

Y'know the usual....

A truly appaling piece of hackneyed melodrama, not a good deal at any price. Save your money and wait for it to come on TV, you'll be glad you did.

I would imagine this " feel good movie of the decade " will have to be cut before shown on TV, even after the late watershed.
Can't see OFCOM being too keen on them showing scenes of torture before 11pm :whistling:

The way this movie has been advertised reminds me of those daft recut trailers on youtube that make the Shining into a comedy film and what not.

It's pretty criminal the way they have conned people into watching what they thought was a different sort of movie. That said the film that it actually is is a good one.

Good price but a completely overated film which made this year's Oscars ceremony a farce.

Its an appalling movie and a disgusting idea (quite frankly). How someone / a film industry take pride in showing off the poverty and pain of some of the most unfortunate children is out of my imagination. Its not as if the money earned would go to a charity or these poor children shown. It goes in the pockets of those who are making mega bucks by glamorizing and capitalising on someone else's real life sorrows.

IMO its simply unethical. Its better to give your money to a children's charity instead of spending money on watching this movie, regardless of how cheap it is.
