is it only toddler milk ? or the SMA stage 2 (from 6 months) included ?

EDIT: just checked it - its only toddlers milk 1year+ ;)

fix your description, coz you've copied too many text from the website ;)
#2
Its only the green (12m+) one. OOS fro my online order last night and muppets brought Cow and Gate at twice the price - who on earth is going to accept that sort of substitute?
#3
good if any lift in the shop have a look befor and there was sold out
#4
This is the stage 3 from 12months onwards, they also have this in Tesco.
#5
From 12 months onwards you can give your children ordinary full fat pasteurised milk - £1.50 for 4 pints!!!

Or you can still breast feed .. no artificial colours or flavours ... for free.

Cold from me.
#6
you shouldn't make it cold just because you don't agree with formula milk, some kids don't like cows milk and we parents have no choice
#7
formula milk is cow milk based!
#8
it's based - that means it's not a cow milk...
#9
My little girl hated that stuff!! I bought a tin when it first came out as it was cheaper than her usual cow n gate one!!!

She refused to drink it lol!!!

Heat added though as its a good price if your little one drinks it!!

oh i love the 'we parents have no choice' comment less than 1% of women can't breast feed

300 babies die each day as a direct result of not being breast fed 'unicef 2010'

As UNICEF has said:

"Marketing practices that undermine breastfeeding are potentially hazardous wherever they are pursued: in the developing world, WHO (world health org) estimates that some 1.5 million children die each year because they are not adequately breastfed. These facts are not in dispute."

In 3rd world countries the formula companies pay mothers to use there product for the 1st 3 months and then withdraw payment once the mothers milk dries up! leading to millions of mothers struggling to afford formula for their children. nestle is the worst for this

'SMA fortified with iron' fortified with s***e.

Why do you think the government has banned any advertising/promotion or offers on stage 1 & 2 formula milk??????

needless to say COLD from me

:roll::lazy:

Voted hot

voting hot to counteract the pointless cold votes. Honestly what is it with some people and breastfeeding? Trying to make people feel bad isn't smart or clever .
#13
wow, the arrogance from some of the posters on here is disgusting....

not all women CAN breastfeed, and I dont care for the 1% statistic above - although it may be physically possible to breast feed for 99%, there are a hell of a lot more mental and emotional reasons that a large proportion of women either can't breast feed, or can't continue to breast feed....

this site is a disgrace at times.

99% of woman can breastfeed with no problems ? LOL where did you find these statistics - in the sun or daily mail ? stop watching jeremy kyle and do you research before talking BS...

:giggle::giggle: yeah sorry it was mr Kyles show I got my info from because he always has people on promoting breastfeeding and not 'your fella sh***ed my fella'!!

Got my info from the WHO and also a 3 year nursing degree, 2 years to become a health visitor and a year to become a lactation consultant. oh and a councilor for La Leche League.

But anyway I believe that all mothers do what they think is best for their children so how you feed is your choice, just feel the facts need to be included in your choice. This board is for deals and to vote hot or clod and state your reasons not argue. I have voted cold and stated my reasons.

You voted on a product designed for 1yr+ infants which renders most of your facts and reasons irrelevant.

As someone else mentioned, 99% may be physically able but that doesn't include factors such as whether the baby is able etc.

I wish all mothers did what they thought was best. I wouldn't see any babies in £5 pushchairs with a smoking mother and we wouldn't need Social Services.

Voted cold from me, I agree with fluffy. There is no need for children over the age of 1 to be drinking these, cows milk and a balanced diet is enough. The only reason the formula companyies came up with the follow on milks/toddler milks was to get around the ban of advertising infant formulas (birth onwards)
#18
Casting zero assertions or opinions on whether it is right or wrong to use this stuff. However voting the DEAL HOT as its a great price.

If you use this and you cannot find it any cheaper elsewhere (which you cannot) then this is a BARGAIN.

its better to give them cheap asda/tesco milk...DUH...cow's milk would be better if you would milk the effin cow yourself...not buy it from a supermarket...

as for the breastfeeding - still say its bull*** that 99% of mother breastfeed...my missus couldnt do it because her milk wasn't good enough so stop saying crap...i know about 2-3 mothers that didn't breastfeed because of various problems

few facts about your beloved cows milk...

- there's not enough iron in cows milk, your kid might end up anemic...
- there's 3 x more protein in cows milk then in breast milk, same thing with sodium, calcium and phosphor - its too much for kids kidneys...
- not enough vitamins A, C, D and E...
- not enough fats that are important for growing babies...

so yes, its all formula companies...even experts say to not to give cows milk before 2-3 years old...
