I have this set and I can tell you it's not "rubbish". The rear light is immensely bright, and the front isn't bad either. For being seen at night this is a great set for £14.

If you sign up to Wiggle you can generate a £5 off a £50 spend by going into your account preferences and changing your newsletter settings. It will give you a code valid for 7 days.

Great deal, paid £10 more when I bought mine, very very bright front light, hot

I recently bought these lights. The back light is very good - bright enough in town and on country lanes. The front light is adequate for in town, but no good for those dark country lanes.

TBH I wasn't expecting much when I ordered the first set because of the price but Hubby was so impressed he had 'em fixed to his bike by the next morning lol
He very generously gave me his old ones :x so looked to see if these were still on offer and they are .. hence why I posted the deal.
Apparently they aren't recommended for cycling in the pitch dark in the middle of nowhere without streetlights, the front light struggles a bit.

I want them for commuting so that suits me fine at a price i'm happy to pay.

Incidently the customer service from these people is second to none!

i have the rear light and its excellent.

As others have said, the rear light is excellent.

The front light is very good as a blinky blinky get noticed light. It's a lot brighter than cheap LED bike lights (and some cateyes) and has a good amount of side spill for being seen pependicular to the traffic. I use it in tandem with my main (dinotte) front light, but I've used it a few times in an emergency to get me home on unlit roads, but wouldn't recommend doing this except at low speeds or under streetlights.

Sadly I lost my front, and now have the Smart Lunar 35 which is much brighter (tacily clad in black plastic), but also twice the price!

1/2 watt cannot be described as immensely bright. That really is rubbish in this point in LED history with cheap 900 lumen leds available. :o

A cyclist who has lights on a bike at night is quite a novelty!

No idea how long been on quidco; always usually check, something about the name of the company made me think would'nt be on there, silly really, only after thought checked post ordering, gutted, extra 70p off, principle of the thing

Received these a few days ago, very bright, so much brighter than Halfords lights currently on other bike; so ordered further set for daughters bike.

Found these impressive videos of these lights;

REAR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IAtpsOH434
FRONT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4eZY0AAILQ

Based on these videos I'm going to order a set (and also due to the fact that my mate has just been knocked off his bike in London today - lost a tooth and unconcious for a while .... but he got off lightly).

These lights are well worth the money IMO - heat and rep left.
