Guys be careful very very recent reviews suggest the front wheel falling off in this particular model. Apparently customers returned the item and even the new one had the same problem. So I am going to keep off it, but should say the price is worthy.

Review 1: 8 days ago, Happy with product when working as it should but the front wheel is faulty so it keeps falling off!

Review 2: 8 days ago,Brought this trike for my 1 year old with his birthday money and he really seemed to love it.... however, the front wheel kept falling off despite us checking it had been assembled right. I brought it back to mothercare to swap as it was obviously faulty and they built us the 2nd one. This one seemed to steer strangely after the 1st time out despite us sticking to pavements and once again as we went out the front door down the step ( with me lifting it by the frame) the front wheel fell off - this time with our little boy in it!

Review 3: Unfortunately the front wheel does not click properly into place when revolving it into the child controlled position. I have tried calling the help line but only to received an automated voicemail. The trike is great for now for my 1 year old, but not so much as she grows... I am hoping I can take it into a mothercare to get fixed or replaced!?

Guys I had this exact model and the front wheel just flopped out while pushing my 11 month old! Please be careful it's not worth the risk. Luckily it was on grass and I had a tight enough grip on the handle that he didn't topple out
#10
I bought my son one, he loved it and I have had no problems.

We've got the green version of this. Paid £80. It's been hammered with no problems at all. Recent poor reviews would indicate a faulty batch. Defiantly worth a punt at this price and if you have any problems return or exchange.
#12
ordered thank you!
#13
Thanks OP, gone for it and if it seems unsafe when putting together, I'll return to store :)
#14
Good deal hmmmm not sure about buying now read reviews

Regarding the Wheel and steering lock... if you assemble it correctly and make sure everything clicks into place, it should be fine,
I can't speak for anyone else, but when mine fell off, I just checked the assembly steps and the wheel piece had not been pushed into the frame piece to properly. A little bit of a push and it clicks. Hey presto... wheel all sorted and never had any other problems.

Just as I went to order they've removed it :(

It a system glitch and you cannot order them at the £30 price. Just called mothercare. They won't honour the price online or over the phone.

Never understood why anyone would call customer services to query a possible misprice, surely its better to roll the dice and hope they get dispatched rather than to point out the mistake to them oO
#23
My store has just honoured it as my partner just collected :-)
#24
I ordered earlier and have had confirmation email really hope they do honour it

Why on earth would you phone them? Some people.

On the Mothercare website it had RRP £99.99 and a big red flash saying save £69.99 so how is that a mis-price? Hopefully more like they are clearing them out and have sold out and they will honour orders processed :/

Excellent piece of kit even at full price.

In regards to the wheel issue it sounds like folks not setting it up correctly however i would say the included paper instructions were a bit vague and misleading; youtube video explains it better.

My order just got cancelled but they did give me a £20 e-voucher :) Can't say fairer than that I suppose, goes to show that it's worth gambling on possible misprices sometimes, even though compensation isn't always forthcoming, win-win situation as far as I'm concerned.
#37
I managed to order and just had an email to say out of stock but they are offering a £20 voucher.
#38
i got this in march for my 1 yr old i love it an super bargain if u got it for £30
#39
Got the same email 20 pound e voucher would have preferred the trike tho :(
#40
It can't be a glitch. If u look on c.a.b website they might have to as it wasn't a misprice. It's not as if it's £100 marked down to £1.00. It was £100 down to £30. Which stated a saving of £60. I'm defo going to ring and kick off tomorrow. That's not on.
