If you are entirely new to SmarterCard our current Hot Deal is 2 months free trial membership, you may cancel at anytime during your trial. Beyond the trial you are obliged to pay until the expiry of the book. This can range from 10 to 1 month depending when in the year you join. It's book after all. From you second book, we send these to you on 14 day approval, if you don't want it any longer you simply return it.
Deals available in the book vary year on year although once published each advertiser is committed to offer that deal year long. Each advertiser specifies any exclusions. Every advertiser must accept deals 7 days a week. Some, not all, do exclude dates like Valentines, the majority continue to accept vouchers on their regular menus and not say Christmas menu - we think this is fair as often these are at promotional rates.
Outback Steakhouse has closed all it's UK restaurants, regretably this is something way beyond our control the Basildon restaurant was very popular with our members.
I think it's because it's a region specific offer, most people aren't interested. I'm from Southend myself, but due to me not being able to drive, it wouldn't be much use to me.

However, I am voting it hot because it's a good deal, and it shouldn't matter if it's for a small area.
Not sure how this has gone so cold. I personally think this is a real bargain.

It's a shame about the small print and that you don't visit the places they have. As a Nando's regular I'm saving £11.95 each vist. That's worth it alone to me! Free bowling for the family, Free childs places at Partyman world and Laser Kombat, 50% off Strada etc etc. I can see your point and I suppose you need to think about the vouchers you get but for us, we used to pay full price in alot of these venues anyway so the saving are huge. Yesterday alone I saved over £50.
we bought this at the county fair 2 years ago because there was no joining fee as a show offer. The first year it was ok got our money back and some good deals with a couple of free cinema showings and just a couple of visits to the outback but now thats gone we have not used it we tried to cancel but had to pay nearly the years fee so kept it this year you have to return the book within 2 weeks or you have signed up for another year also beware you cannot use the vouchers on special days like mothers day valentines or the whole of december hope this helps some one xx have no cinema offers or special events at all this year
