looks okay, the battery claims are a bit OTT considering the low battery rating.

shame it has macafee pre installed trial though, might be worth checking how embedded that is!

Pretty good spec for the price. And a decent front camera (for a change!).
Not sure about the build quality. May be good, may be bad. But there is a 3 year warranty for piece of mind.
#8
Dual SIM msd card and replaceable battery. Not bad.

Couple this price with the £15 off a £75 spend voucher in today's mirror valid till near end of dec - brings cost down to £65 - worth a go !

Trade description failure!

Quad HD = 2,560 x 1,440 pixels!

How does this compare to the moto e? Is it worth 30 quid more than the argos deal?

Yeah you need four of them to obtain 1920*1080p!
#13
If it is a rebranded Op3n Dott P4502, then may be worth a look - it's a dual sim phone, which could be handy

Not bad aside from awful cameras:

+ Well-made housing
+ Display: high viewing angles and natural colors
+ Dual SIM
+ Loud and clear sound
+ Almost pure Android
- It is not too good in the hand
- Protruding camera lens
- Poor quality photos and videos
- Manufacturer applications are extremely weak
- Ugly and impractical lock screen

It's qHD not QHD, there is a difference.

Yes the line of the q is written below the line.

Tesco are doing a moto e on contract for £7.50 per month with quite a decent amount of calls and texts and 500mb internet. Plus quidco which might appeal

There is also a difference between the two resolutions, but thanks.

I was hoping you understood my sarcasm and actually give some detail as your comment was so vague it prompted me to say what I said.

Please, can you explain what's the difference between qHD and QHD?

Okay so i did some digging and found something to support your claims! Lol

'QHD is specified as 2560x1440 pixels at a16x9 aspect ratio, four times that of 720p standard high definition. Ultra wide QHD boosts the horizontal pixels to 3440 for a 21x9 aspect ratio.

QHD is a resolution suitable to large-size screens. On mobile devices, given the 5.5 inch screens, QHD makes for a very high pixel density of 538dpi. QHD is on the horizon for higher end smartphones.

A similarly named but different standard, qHD (quarter HD) is a resolution that is one-quarter of 1080p's 1980x1080.'

This post specifically states Quad HD which is talking about the higher resolution... It should say Quarter HD or as you mentioned, qHD.

I may be a bit naive but can this phone be used on any network.
#24
Its not locked to any network,
BUT it's only Tri-band, GSM900/1800/1900, therefore not global networks. It appears to be missing 850 band which I understand is parts of the Americas, so if you don't plan on travelling outside Europe with this phone, you should be ok.

Does anyone know if you can fit a larger mah battery - 1700 is a bit low
Would prefer at least 2200
#27
Just picked one up - 2 points of immediate concern

Only accepts standard sims - what the f****
Battery cover is very flimsy plastic.
Have serious doubts how long plastic lugs will last
