Save £8 over the price separately, and have the joy-con colours the other way around. Shame it's released 7 days after launch.

Comes bundled with a download code for Snipperclips: Cut it out - together

The versatile Joy-Con offer multiple surprising ways for players to have fun

Two Joy-Con can be used independently in each hand or together as one game controller when attached to the Joy-Con grip (sold separately)

They can also attach to the main console for use in handheld mode or be shared with friends to enjoy two-player action in supported games

Each Joy-Con has a full set of buttons and can act as a standalone controller and each includes an accelerometer and gyroscope motion sensor, making independent left and right motion control possible

aren't these already given with the console

Decent deal if you wanted both the game and the controller.
Snipperclips will be £17.99 on the eshop so that reduces the controller to £62.
Weird to bundle the controller with a game that doesn't need an extra set of controllers though.

I'm not sure, but apparently it's 4 player.

Worth pointing out that some are charging £74.99 for the joy-con pair alone

Ignore me, I've just found out the game supports 4 players.

Looks like the type of game that should be free with the console though so I see it as 80 quid for the joy cons, very expensive. If I got snipperclips free on ps+ or xbox games with gold I wouldn't be happy, looks very child centric. Same thing with 1-2 switch. And the novelty will wear off with 1-2 switch very quickly.

You would not be interested its 1280x720 ;)

Sorry to change the subject, but isn't this 4 player?

I THINK THE GAME MIGHT BE 4 PLAYER!!

Also, why has this gone cold? Is it cheaper elsewhere or is it just the anti-switch crowd?
#15
I've spoken to Nintendo and can confirm this game is 5 player.
#16
Good deal... considering buying Snipperclips separately anyway. just canceled my joycons preorder and went for this instead.. Thanks.

Snipperclips is a pretty good title and will be £18 on its own. Also worth noting that you should consider snapping this bundle up in readiness for the release of Arms which is best played as a two player game against a friend (each player will need a pair of joy con controllers). I recently played Arms at a pre launch event and can confirm that it is a great game and a real hoot to play.

The issue with the left joy con desynching from the Switch while in TV dock mode had been widely reported. By all accounts it is probably due to a weak blue tooth signal that Nintendo has opted for to preserve battery life when using the Switch in table top mode. Others suggest there is no problem so long as there is a clear line of sight between the joy con and Switch unit. Nintendo are reportedly working on a a patch that will be available at launch. I have used the joy cons at a pre launch event and did not have any problem. Hoping that will be the case when my unit arrives.

Just checked the UK Nintendo website - http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/Snipperclips-Cut-it-out-together--1173331.html scroll down the page for snipperclips, and it says: "For a limited time from March 10th, a download code for Snipperclips – Cut it out, together! is included with a special Joy-Con bundle containing a set of two coloured Joy-Con (neon red/neon blue). Check with your local retailer for availability."
So it looks like it will be available free with the Joy-Con bundle from 10th March, meaning there is no need to pay £5 more to get Snipperclips with them.

I think this is the bundle which you just quoted from Nintendo website

Amazon also has the release date of this bundle as March 10th.

Wouldn't call them broken and learning from past experience, BT connection issues can usually be fixed by a software patch, hopefully this is the case here and will be addressed by the day 1 patch

Might have been an idea to have the BT fully functioning before passing around hundreds of Switches the big hitting gaming hacks around the planet don't you think?

Nintendo were reportedly working on building a machine that was going to hold it's own horse power wise against rival current gen consoles and were also reportedly securing bundles of third party support,

Millions of us around this planet hoped that would be the case but oh no, Nintendo just stuck to being Nintendo so forgive my cynical pessimism (_;)

No..technically the hardware hasn't actually launched yet so as long as it's addressed in the day 1 patch I'm perfectly fine with that.. to be honest, modern hardware/software have become so complicatedly so it's nothing unusual that it may take a couple of weeks for the issues to be ironed out.

I think I'm happy about the Nintendo's approach after reading all those reviews so far and can't wait to play the new Zelda game..

I dont see anywhere saying the "special joy-con bundle" will be the same price as the regular joy-con package.

Now there's somebody who has clearly never even been in any bother with the law, because if you had you'd be having to fly to Vancouver and cross over via hire car on an unmarked back road :{ god I should do a website offering 'alternative travel advice' shouldn't I?

Anyone else finding that as you progress through the checkout (after selecting payment option) that this item cannot be ordered because of delivery address being wrong? This is the only item I've found this on; the regular joycons from Amazon work fine...

Just bought the latest copy of Edge Magazine today for the BOTW coverage. There's a review and a couple of other articles on the game. Nice cover depicting link struggling through a blizzard (the cover of link swimming is a subscriber only edition). Very nice collector's piece if you like this sort of thing. It came out today and they only had two copies in my large local Tesco this morning at 8am and I bought one. Not sure if it will become hard to find but though it worth a heads up.
