Nothing wrong with people buying to sell on Ebay, I don't have a problem with that at all. I personally can't stand Ebay, they rip off sellers to the point that it's not worthwhile selling anymore, but good luck to those who do. As for these boots, we ALL make mistakes, sorry I had a pop earlier, it's not funny to see somebody lose money over a mistake! Good luck selling them!

Come on Op, you made a mistake, you edited your title to reflect that. Just admit it! lol People on HUKD don't like it when others gloat about buying and selling on fleebay to make a profit, and you can't blame people for taking some pleasure in knowing you made a complete balls up here!
Looks like the op did indeed make a blunder, and will perhaps learn that to trade in something it's a good idea to do some research first, but one thing about the comment puzzles me. Surely many people on here don't only buy for themselves, and resell on ebay , markets or whatever if they can make a profit ? Small shopkeepers paying rent, rates, taxes etc don't like carbooters, but it's the way of the world these days, that you have to make a living any way you can.....preferably legal.
I absolutely agree people have to make a profit. But this isn't about that, this is about someone thinking they got a good deal then flaunting it in peoples faces by saying they bought an extra 2 pairs to make a profit on fleebay. If these had been genuine Uggs the Op could have taken the last pair to make a profit stopping someone else who actually wanted a bargain! HUKD isn't about making money for yourself, it's about getting a bargain. Big difference to what the Op attempted to do.

I am sure the principle of this site is to help people find a bargain, but there's no control over who uses it. I know of small shopkeepers who have bought stuff in wholesale quantities with no quibble from companies like debenhams for instance. An item which would normally sell for £3 wholesale in small quantities and retail in a small shop or market for £ 5 or £6, can sometimes be found in an online store's clearance for £1 or less. There has been no problem with buying 5 each of seven or eight sizes and colours ( 40 or more pieces ), which is obviously not for a genuine family to use. The store wants to clear out old stock before they virtually give it away to national chains of discounters, and small dealers want to buy it, so all are happy except perhaps for a few private buyers who missed the boat.
Large out of town superstores ( And charity shops) have killed off our high streets, and chinese cheap subsidised labour has finished a lot of western businesses, but everyone on here is happy to get a bargain from Asda etc, and help them to dominate and dictate what and how we buy. Unless all those who want to join this site are individually veted then you may well find some bargains on here are up for sale in a rural high street shop or market--- the early bird catches the worm. I can't be bothered with all the hassle myself, but am sure a lot of others do.

well I am determined to sell them at a profit, I have no doubts whatsoever that they will make less than £50....
Depending how much less than £50 they make, it might not be much of a profit ! I think you meant to insert the word 'not' between make and less ?
