You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.

Facebook is perhaps the most well-known and well-used social networking site of the Digital Age, everyone knows it, many love it, but not so many know the true story of how it came to be.

Back in 2003 a young computer programmer and Harvard Undergrad had an idea, what he didn’t know yet was how big his idea had the potential to be.

Mark Zuckerberg’s blogging and networking quickly became a global phenomenon and a revolution in modern communication. Mark goes on to become a billionaire, but his creation doesn’t come without legal complications.

A tale of how the founders of facebook came to light and how they created the biggest social network site the world has ever seen.

Great film. Justin T was annoying though.

...but not so many know the true story of how it came to be.

It's not the "true" story, it's only based on. Most of it is fiction.

agreed according to the owners.....though theyll never admit anything given the subject and the risk of further lawsuits

still it is amazing how quickly he became a billionaire and facebook a success....zero to billionaire in 3-4 years

its ok, but overated. The godfather is a great film, training day is a great film, the lion king is a great film, rocky is a great film, this really doesnt qualify as a GREAT film.

I'd put Training Day way over Lion King :)

But this IS an incredibly over-rated film, ironically because it involved facebook so everyone wants to see it!.

The worst thing about the film was that is was NOT the story of facebook, it was a fictional imagining of the story of facebook -why? It was a bit boring and didn't really make sense.

You know you're into a bad film when it has to explain 'what happened' with text at the end AND it makes no sense in relation to the film!
