Hot! But useless until the PSN comes back on!

Glad I bought portal 2 the other Friday instead of this!

Sigh. Yeah, I've had this game since release and although I really enjoyed the SP - it definitely exceeded my personal expectations - I haven't been able to play the MP yet. Shame, because the Co-op and MP look good.

Speaking of good MP and Co-op - I can't wait for Brink!

Close enough with my Quidco to the self-imposed £25 price tag I put on this game....Ordered!

Plus...thanks to the PSN outage I won't be that far behind for the online MP whores...:p

co-op and MP are mint

Great multiplayer game if you want something a bit more tactical and slowly paced then your typical COD type game.

Lots of fun, single player is a bit gaf though.

Good price but this ain't socom anymore zipper have killed killed socom with this joke of a game, i used to love the socom series but there have been to many changes.......... No lobbies,No Dpad lean,No grenade ark,Open mikes, Stupid snap cover system, Two primary weapons ect ect... Voted hot for price now but this will be sub £20 in a week or two :(

Great game, well worth the price in the thread, solo is good, played through the whole thing but still not completed on the hardest setting. MP was good before the PSN died. Zipper have made this more like a shiny MAG with less players for the online so if you are unsure and just want it for MP, give MAG a try for £10 or less and see what you think first. I have both, zippers online is an acquired taste but well worth it imo....

I love the idea of a grenade ark... I'm just trying to picture Noah loading all the animals onto a boat made out of explosives.

But yeah, this very much is still Socom, just the years is 2011 and not 2003. Stuff has changed, but it's still complete unique to every thing else in the online shooter market, and has those 'core' values of non-respawn, third person, team based play that to me are what define Socom.

It'll definitely be sub £20 in a few weeks though - nothing to do with the games quality though, SCEE simply don't seem to care whatsoever about the game. Retailers like HMV don't even stock the thing and it's hard to even find this games existence on the playstation website itself :D.
