It's a good price a perfect gift perhaps for that difficult to please person. Heat added

A few of the reviews suggest this is not "white" but "off white" or "cream". Wouldn't suit my other bathroom fittings, otherwise a decent price.

Great reminder.
I've been struggling to find something the wife would really want for Xmas, but now I know.
I really wanted to spoil her this year.
I'm going to buy the wife.............................

Had one of these and they're not very good.
Really cheaply made and the colour more cream than white

I wouldn't even take a dump on that.

Oh, wait....

if this is the same as I bought a few weeks back , dont expect to be able to sit on it whilst lid is down so you can chat while mrs is still in bath, nearly ended up in a + e as it couldnt take weight and slipped off lol. its christmas, please no weight jokes lol, apart from that it does work but rather flimsy in its build quality

Just bought and fitted one this morn. Colour is more off white than pure white but then it went on a grey toilet, so doesn't notice. It was a doddle to fit, couple of minutes work which is noce compared to some others i've fitted in the past. Not found it to be unstable or slide around as some reviews suggested, will see what time brings with that.

See if it survives the mother in law this weekend ;-)

the only problem with soft close ones is when you then go places that don't have soft close!! I'm forever dropping toilet seats now, and they really make a noise!!

Thanks op

Ordered!

I think this is the plastic fittings, they are horrible. The B&Q in Sutton have a soft close with metal fittings on a pallet for £10 which is much better than this one just FYI :)

i tried that one year had to to the hospital to have them sown back on lol

Prefer the Hard Close ones myself. :|

....Wouldn't suit my other bathroom fittings....

We've got an avocado bath, a white toilet cystern with a green base, a wooden seat, and a sink with one working tap. I think it'll fit right in to ours.

The worst thing about having a soft close toilet lid is using one that isn't, tapping it to close, and BOOM!

Same here, once you go soft-close you can never go back! ;) My friend shouts at me when she hears her old school solid wood seat crash down :D

heat added , this is no bum deal , great price .

Just got one. Local B&Q had about 50 of them on a central display, seems like a special shipment. Do not believe the RRP for one minute.

Quality is okay, not great. It's a little small not quite reaching the front of the bowl, but sturdy enough. Slightly off-white as stated above.

As I needed one, I'm generaly happy with this, £12 is okay, but it won't last long and I wouldn't buy it again.
